Upstairs of light BS? Or tier 2 club?

How is the upstairs of light for BS? Is it still a good location? Unfortunately our budget puts us here if we wanna go to light, or should we look into tier 2 clubs? And what are the best tier 2 clubs for edm/ dance music?

Depends what you're after? If you're looking for a ton of foot traffic then go to tier 2 if you're willing to go to the dance floor and pull then its a good spot.

Is there more room up there or is it very crowded too? I prefer the less crowded, hate when you can't even move

Highly recommend the mez tables at light. It's cool being able to be on the railing looking down on everything. And like mentioned... Just pull girls from below and bring them up to your table. If tier 2... I would look into tryst or surrender.

I had some correspondence with on the hosts here - Noah Ortiz - regarding my preference for location in LIGHT that I will be able to hold a conversation with (women) that meet there. Where the music is not so loud, but still allow you to view and absorb the club's atmosphere. He suggested that the Mezzanine (tables) at Light would fit the bill. If this fits your criteria ?

I had it for 1k min, $1708 all in, 4 guys, saturday in march for ingrosso. Tipped Noah well and got a great location up there.

Would do it again in a heart beat. More fun and just go pull girls back. It's secluded, you get a sick view and its better for those that work magic through talking. Get there early, tip well and have fun!

I was in the Mezz last year and it was less crowded. You get a great view of the action. Totally worth it.

I believe 20% Grat, 8% ish Tax, 10% LET, and then whatever you want to tip the bus boy and security.

$40 to security (can be $20 as standard but i like to go a little more above of lower mins)
$40 to busser (can be $20 as standard but i like to go a little more above of lower mins)
200-$300 to host (if shake matters to secure min and/or location then go higher)
Grat included

You can always throw security $40-100 if you want him to be on the game and do more tasks for you.
Same goes for busser if you want...i dunno faster bussing? lol

On a non busy night I $200 host tip $20 to each
On a busy night and if im not at a high min I tip host $300-$500 and $40-100 to each to make up for lower min. Just my thoughts though. I don't have wallet firepower yet and am usually in charge. I like to keep the people helping me out happy or at least understanding that i am doing what I can to help them lol >.<

Yea. Although chances are you will spend slightly more than your minimum unless you are really counting coins and are able to order as close to it as possible.
