  • Vegas clubs for the first time

I'm going to be hitting up the Vegas clubs for the very first time and I had a question about dress code when it comes to getting bottle service. I'll be hitting up Haze, Hyde, Hakkasan, XS, and Tao and I'm doing bottle service at all of them. I'm a big fan of Givenchy, Balmain and a couple others high top sneakers. I don't ever wear a dress shoe unless its a black tie event. Will I have a problem? Occasionally I pair my pocket squares with my high tops to dress it up even a bit. Most of my "planned" clothing will involve a blazer, black denim, high tops and sometimes a pocket square. Don't know what to really expect Vegas clubs wise as I have read all kinds of different reviews, reactions from people.

I've seen guys get in with clean sneakers (dressy sneakers, and not bright neon running shoes) that go with their outfit when doing BS. I've noticed that clubs are a little more relaxed on shoes when you are paying to get a table as I'm sure they want your money. However, I would recommend making sure your shoes are clean, in good shape, and an important part of completing your outfit.

To be safe you may want to just run it by your host so you know for sure.

I dont see why you'd chance this.

Givenchy, Balmain sneakers are gaudy. They're too showy. You say in your post youre gonna wear a blazer and high tops?! You can forget about the pocket square dude, youre wearing jeans, a blazer and sneakers to a Vegas nightclub. You're gonna stick out a mile.

You get away with this on BIG spends, and not all the time. When I went surrender a couple of years back one of my mates got turned away for wearing sneakers and we had something like a $5k spend. At Surrender.

It depends, sometimes you get away with it, but its such a hassle getting all the way to the door then being told to go get changed! is it worth it?

I live most of the year in Paris. It's what I wear. I understand trends and difference in fashion depending on where you are in the world. I imagine I will see swarms of ladies in vegas in a particular bandage dress that most women I know stopped wearing a few years ago. Changing my shoe to a dress shoe would mean pretty much I need to wear completely different clothes. Don't know if I want to be in photos in one time use clothing.

Honestly, you gotta be dressed pretty loudly or run into a total asshole doorman to be rejected for dresscode. I usually wear creative recs or aldo sneakers and get in no problem.

Also, dress code is more casual during industry nights too.
                  Next trip: ???
