Marquee - Cosmo Guests

So I'll be staying at the Cosmo from the 11th until the 15th. We purchased presale tix for Benny Benassi for that Friday night at Marquee. I then realized that hotel guests may have comped entry except for Saturdays.....

Someone tell me this isn't necessarily the case so I don't feel like a complete moron

Sadly my friend I think that is the case...I'd still go early, cause I got there a little late and got caught up in the lines forever on multiple floors mode...I lose the desire after 2 hrs in line.

My normal Friday at Marquee is get there at 10PM using the hotel guest line, usually get in within a few minutes. Then leave and get a hand stamp, party in the room, then go back around 1am for the headliner. Down side is the trek up the stairs.

How effective is the hand stamp? Not just at Marquee, but clubs in general. I had wondered about buying presales, showing early to get in and coming back later. Guessing this is probably more effective at some places than others?

Bare in mind, if the club "hits capacity" around 12-1am, there will be a line hold for everyone including the reentry line.

Thanks for clearing that up...I'm all for pregaming and getting there early to get a stamp, but I hate the winding line thing if it gets packed...maybe this year i'll do the stamp thing and just go hang in the room for an hour or so.

Just Friday & Sunday. Don't think they are comped on Saturdays. Also holidays, I doubt they comp hotel guest.

Damn I was about to be 2 for 2! I'll be staying at the Cosmo and I was gonna replace my typical Ditch Fridays with MDC since its right there and free, but since it July 4th holiday, I may be pushing my chances...huh.

Weird, I called Marquee a week ago and they said guests were comped every day fri - sun.

It's really hit or miss. I stay there pretty often, but in general (non-holiday weekends):

Fridays are free for hotel guest +1 at both day and nightclubs.

I don't remember Saturdays ever being comped for day OR night club.

Sunday dayclub not comped either and the nightclub is closed non-holiday Sunday nights.

Monday nightclub you'll get free entry +1.

I'd call them on the Thursday before the weekend you're going to see if they're letting hotel guests in for free.

they are pretty easy going to be honest. all you have to do is flash a room key and they'll let you in.

We asked for some extra keys at front desk so my buddies just used those. (monday night)
