Let me take two steps back........ If it's to good to be true then it probably is..... BUT, I just don't think it's a bad thing to look around and see whats going on. Unless you live here and Vegas, AND deal with clients on a budget, high rollers need not apply I think it's best to at least consider looking at what others have to offer. If you work for the club there are things you can do and there are things that you cannot do, or say..... Locals, promoters, & independents can strike better deals, in many cases, under the table that hosts cannot directly come out and offer you. I'm disappointed when I see post where the OP is told to contact a host...... Cool, that's fine, you WILL be taken care of without a doubt... But this is a Vegas insider forum.. Why not give the OP some tips that he may not have found anywhere else..... This is my opinion.. not saying it's fact

i don't feel like you're reading through entire threads being posted on the forums. people on here are constantly mentioning deals you can get at which venues and on which nights and the hosts that are praised on here are because they are the ones offering those deals.

We tell people to use certain hosts for a reason Lee. Plus, we've seen more than enough independent hosts whose deals aren't really deals. Also, we're not going to burn the bridges to our ins by publicly telling people what they'll do for us. That would make US the fools. But, Facebook and Craigslist over a direct host.....sigh smh.

I didn't say that.... and to clear things up, for anyone who translated what I have said the same way, DO NOT TRUST INDEPENDENT HOST!! There are a ton of fly by nights here in Vegas and you are taking a risk when not dealing directly with a host that works directly with the nightclub.... I do, however, stand by my statement to look around and see what's going on. Facebook & Craigslist are the only places I know of that will at least give you some starting point of exploration.... it's not the end all of researching tho..

How could Craigslist possibly be a better option than a host who works for the venue? Can you link to any kind of example?
