  • EPIC Itinerary Almost Done, Just a Few Q's for the Pros!

    Hey guys,

I've been lurking for a few weeks, thanks for all the great advice across these boards. So this trip is July 11th-15th, 8-10 guy bachelor party. We're going thru an independent host that my friends have used in the past (they say he's done great work for them) Here's what we have, I'd like some thoughts on how it looks/if it could be made even better:

Friday - MDC - 2 daybeds since minimum should be low. Or would cabana be better? (Again minimum shouldn't be an issue)

Friday Night - Light - best table for $2,500-$3,000 min.

Saturday - Wet Republic - I think we're booked for a lounge table, what's your thought on this? We figure it would be good to have the shade when we want it + we'll be really close to Tiesto which is pretty cool.

Saturday Night - ? (your thoughts?) Kaskade at Marquee would be perfect but $$$, plus we figure anywhere will be good for less

Sunday - EBC - I originally had 2 lily pads booked, however the bachelor decided he'd rather have a daybed so I switched it. Thoughts on one option over the other?

Sunday Night - XS Nightswim - I'm worried that nothing is listed on the calendar, do they sometimes take off certain weeks?

    Monday - RECOVER

Monday Night - Marquee - Again best table for $2,500-$3,000 min.

Tuesday + - miserable flight home and hate my life for the foreseeable future, dreaming of being back.

Thoughts? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Don't worry about there being no DJ listed yet for Nightswim. Someone will be there. Last year, on essentially the same weekend in July, they didn't announce the DJ until about a week and a half before.

It looks like a solid game plan for sure. Couple of things I would point out and ask questions about.

Pool parties - based on your group size you will likely need 2 daybeds or 1 cabana. Is there a reason why you aren't looking at cabanas and are solely looking at daybeds? What pricing are you getting on these?

Friday night @ Light: you say best table for 2500-3k min, assuming that is pre all the crap that gets added, do you have a guaranteed table location? I ask because for my upcoming trip I have a 2k min that puts me guaranteed in T2 seating, but depending on what time we get there and host tip could be bumped up to T1 seating (this is what I was told).

Don't worry about Nightswim and no DJ announced yet. You can also look at Daylight's night swim (Eclipse) just to DJ shop if you really want to. Otherwise, just know that it is going to be a good time.

Thanks guys... as far as the pool parties, we would get 2 beds or cabana at MDC, lounge table at Wet, and the one bed I have reserved at EBC is 8 person for $2100 - we're probably 8, outside chance the last 2 guys come. If they do, I believe there are bigger beds for 10. Are the lounge tables at Wet ok? How are the bed locations at EBC, based on the 360 tour I see some are perfect and centrally located while others are in either corner... are these still ok?

For Light, we're letting the host do his thing as far as location, my friends claim that he's never let them down lol.

Glad to hear XS nightswim is guaranteed to take place.. really looking forward to that.

        Any suggestions for Sat night?

friday i'd grab a grand cabana, should be like 2.5k min if not lower.

that 2.5k - 3k should get you upper dancefloor table (row behind df tables)

saturday night - kaskade is expensive. i'd try to grab an inside spot but i imagine mins for inside start a 2k-3k (backwall)

sunday- daybed is the better option simply because lily pads are beverage minimums only (no food allowed on lily pads)

nightswim - it'll be open dont worry. if for some reason it isnt you can always go to eclipse which is another nightswim party

monday night- that 2.5-3k min will get you a dancefloor/upper dancefloor spot

          solid schedule.

Thanks... yea we'll probably skip Kaskade and go with a cheaper option, have to imagine everywhere is good on Sat night. Also may go a cheaper route at MDC but 2.5k for a grand cabana wouldn't be terrible, thanks for the advice.
