Marquee and XS opinions needed please

Hi,

A few questions -

1: I understand that the clubs aren't open on a Thursday - is this correct??

2: Which club is 'easier' to get into? There will be two gys and two girls.

3: What time should we arrive to have a good chance of entry?

4: Which is the better of the two clubs? I know that this is opinion based, but I'm curious in your perspectives.

5: When people refer to 'Table Service', does this come with any drinks included in the price, or do you literally just get a Table?

boombox room is open on Thursdays at marquee. I've never been but when i walk by the line is relatively small or no line at all.
as for entry just guest list at either of the places and it shouldn't take long to get in or you purchase pre-sale tickets.
if you guest list arrive early(10:30) guest list usually only stays open until midnight. tickets you should be fine up until around 11:30-midnight. if you do table service arrive when the host tells you.
table service does come with drinks, bottles to be exact. bottles can be anywhere from $395 to $600ish depending on night/dj/holiday. the better the table you want the more bottles you'll have to buy. you'll have unlimited mixers to go with your bottle(s), a waitress to serve your drinks, bus boy and security guard. Remember there are taxes and gratuity (28%-38%) added to the total bill.

I think that we would only want to go to the clubs when all of the rooms are open, so probably won't go on the Thursday.

Are there any decent clubs that are fully open on Thursdays?

Do you have a preference between XS and Marquee?

There are lots of great clubs open on Thursdays:
Drais
Hakassan
Tryst
Tao
Haze
EBC At Night (Surrender - Pool Party at night)
I'm probably forgetting one......

Would you suggest that guest list is required for these venues, or should we be ok to just turn up on the night?

I'd never advise to just turn up on the night whatever happens.

Especially those two on Thursdays. Ive seen enormous queues for Tao on GA.

Just get pre-sale tickets. Forget guestlist. Guestlist is for fuckwits who think there's some sort of kudos for being "on the list". In reality its a total gamble, you get to the door after waiting ages to grab someones attention, and you end up tipping the guy anyway. Its a total waste of time.

Just buy pre-sale you spend the same as the tip you'd give your man anyway and wait less.

there really isnt much between Marquee or XS, personally i think XS is the more beautiful and sexier club. Marquee is great for location, on a whole its negligible. I will be spending alot more time at Marquee on my next trip
