Crowd at 1OAK on Sat night

Hey guys been asking about my general itinerary but getting more specific here

What is the crowd at 1OAK like on a Sat with no specific performer vs. a Tier 1 Club - Marquee with Kaskade say and Light with Baauer

Clearly there is no consistent answer but just a rough guide. Clearly 1OAK is much more bang for your $$$ but wondering if thats reflected in a more mixed crowd too - nothing wrong with that of course and might be more easy going but just trying to get a sense

I could never justify skipping Baauer at Light or Kaskade at Marquee for 1OAK, but otherwise 1OAK is an awesome place with a great crowd. It will get a similar type of crowd as tier 1s, but it is just smaller and more intimate. The party is definitely great though!

Agreed, 100 percent, some of my best nights in Vegas have been at 1OAK, the crowd is great and everyone is really there just to have a good time rather than the "scene" type atmosphere of a few other clubs. No denying its smaller than other spots but sometimes that's not a bad thing IMO. Also, I am not a EDM fan by any stretch but certain DJ's are really good because they actually have a since of how to ACTUALLY DJ, consider the crowd, and know how to mix, I have seen Bauer a few times and had a great time because he has a sense of all of those things.

Yes there will be hot chicks at 1OAK. But to be clear there will be far more hot chicks at Marquee than at 1OAK because (x) Marquee is 5 times the size of 1OAK (I am not exaggerating) and (y) Marquee is a tier 1 club so people will flock to it. Don't get me wrong. I love 1OAK. I have a dance floor table booked there on a Friday night in a couple of weeks. My group chooses 1OAK for the same reason you are intrigued - because we can get a dance floor table at 1OAK for a fraction of the price at Marquee. I am sure you were quoted $5,000-$6,000 at Marquee for Kaskade (that's for second tier at Marquee). The dance floor table at 1OAK is in the middle of the action, will have people crowded around it (the area will be roped off and you will have your own security guard who will kick out anyone you want him to) and the service is fantastic. So 1OAK is a great experience all around. Is your group going to a club one night? Multiple nights? Marquee for Kaskade will be PACKED. Same for Light with Bauer. 1OAK is in my mind a great club if you are going out two nights - one big night at a tier one and one cheaper night at 1OAK.

This question always makes me laugh. It's vegas, so yeah there will be "hot" chicks nearly everywhere you go. The "talent" may not be as deep as some of the tier one clubs, but from my experience less pretentious and snooty. Granted there's still great people at these tier 1's, but there are also more people who are more concerned with status.

I was at 1oak on a Sat in march, there were 10's all the way down and other top clubs had big headlining EDM DJ's.

If for some reason the talent isn't that good for the night -there's always booze!

OP you will see hot women and with 1oak you will be right in the mix of it all, it will be a good party, but I doubt you will hear a lot of House/Techno 1oak is Hiphop/top40.
