Our plan - Are missing anything or making any huge errors?

Hi,

A group of 7 of us are arriving in Vegas on Wednesday next week (28th). The group is a good mix with some keen to party and some planning to gamble loads. Im sure plans will change if we are presented with better options when in Vegas but at the moment you can see our plan below.

Please let me know if you think we are missing out on anything essential or if you think we should skip anything on the list!

Wednesday -

DAY - Arrive around 4pm - Arrive, get settled, walk around/explore, gamble. Possibly Stratosphere/Sky jump/Rollercoaster. The rest of the group arrive between 7-8pm. Get VONS order etc.

NIGHT - Check out some bars near the hotel. DBs looks great. Possibly go to SR.


Thursday -

DAY - TAO Beach - $30ish per guy.

NIGHT - Tryst - Bobby Yeadon has set us up.


Friday -

DAY - Considering Marqee Day Club - not sure on what prices to expect for a group of 7?

NIGHT - Decent meal out - considering STK or Wicked Spoon, open to sugegstions. Probably do a bottle deal at SR.


Saturday -

DAY - Shooting @ Gun garage

NIGHT - Considering checking out the Chandelier Bar (just because it looks insane) And then maybe GA at LIGHT or somewhere else. Not sure i can convince the group to do bottle service again (will try).


Sunday

DAY - Nothing planned, possibly check out "insert coins"

NIGHT - Nightswim at XS


Monday - Try to piece our lives together and head home.

Sounds like a good plan.

Regarding MDC - It'll cost between $30 and $50 each

GA night at Light - Bare in mind as you will that GA between 7 guys aint much cheaper than doing bottle service and potentially more expensive. You can get a 2 bottle minimum, im sure Noah would let that through. 3 bottles would still only be about $260 each. Once you've paid to get in and bought 10 drinks thats it equalled. Youll have 10 drinks in the course of a 6 hour night easy.

Sunday id hit a pool - to me Sundays the best day at pools. I'd be going Encore Beach as you havent planned to go there and youll be missing out if you dont. Just pre-sale it, you wont spend a lot.

XS nightswim is a solid plan.

Also - remember Drais will be open. On Thursday and Sunday nights they do bottle specials. 2 Bottles for $600. So you can get an outside table for a $500 min spend. Id be looking at that instead of Tryst or XS. Go here - http://www.draisnightlife.com/map/ choose your date, and choose your table.

What about tables/beds/whatever you call them - are they insane prices?

I think any night we do GA we will be pre-gaming pretty hard. Im totally on board with the bottle service over waiting in line at a rammed bar and i know it adds up but you cant convince someone who cant fit BS in their budget, sadly.

Pricing at MDC for cabanas or daybed? id imagine about $2k min for 7 guys. Its a smallish place with big demand and im hearing this year they are jacking up the cost.

For pool parties are you supposed to turn up in swim shorts with your top off ready to get in the water or can you take your phone/tshirt in and use a locker?

Yeah dude just take whatever you would to the pool. You have to have a t shirt or a top to get through the casino/hotel. You're not allowed to walk through those places with no top on.

And yes to the lockers - just take a bag or whatever like you normally would.

Oh - and dont do GA on the Sunday if you go. You wont get in. You need pre-sale tickets for Saturday/Sundays. Thursday and Friday you're OK but make sure you are there no later than 11:30 - 12 in all cases.

Plan looks good, but as tomm said if you are planning on going GA on a weekend (Friday Night through Sunday Day) then definitely buy pre-sale tickets instead. I know that means you have to commit to a place in advance, but it will be a much shorter line to get in (rarely more than 15 min at night, not sure on dayclubs never done GA there) and you are guaranteed to get in as long as you don't arrive super late. And in most cases it will also be cheaper that way.

Never used a host for line skip so don't know how successful that it on the weekend or what the price difference would be, but I personally like pre-sales and never had issues with them.

1st Its good to make plans/ have a checklist of places you want to visit/ because once in vegas its easy to get off track because so many distractions.
Will also say free limo/free entry strip clubs are 24/7 and a lot of sights/bars are 24/7 so I would plan to hit the nightclubs and pool parties 1st and then plan the other stuff around that. Also strip clubs do bottle specials before 8-9pm- $100 bottles. For nightclubs the headline dj is on around 1am and pool parties 3pm.
If you were looking for maximum party this is what you might think about:

Wednesday night: Free entry to Light

Thursday night: free entry to Hakkasan- dj vice- is one of the better open format djs
Friday day : free entry to daylight?
Friday night: nightclub *might be able to get free entry light*
Saturday day: pool party
saturday night: nightclub
sunday day: pool party
Sunday night: nighswim

Saturday/ Sunday are the busiest days for the pool parties.
During the week you can get free entry on guest or vipforfree guy

Keep in mind that they're anal and enforce strict rules at Day Parties, so only your sunscreen, id, money, phone are allowed, no snacks, candy, mints, drinks, bottled water, etc are allowed - seriously...they go thru purses and bags and anything not allowed is tossed.
