  • To bottle or not to bottle, that is the question?

Ok, three of us going to Vegas in the summer. We want to hit a club. All in our 40s. Question is, is bottle service worth it? Realistically, how much can we expect to spend including the bottle, tips, and so on?

Is there one day of the week better than another? Obviously Saturdays are prime, but can you still have fun on a Monday?

I've heard the although they try to sell you on the "VIP" service, they want you in and out of there are soon as possible so they can double book a table? True? What are your experiences with bottle service? Hype...or worth the hype?

    Thanks.

If it's affordable then I'd highly advise it or go in with someone else. The more people you have the better.

No, they don't want you out of there ASAP. At least that's not what I've experienced.

And some people in 40s feel they are going to be out of place. You aren't. I just visited with 16 friends and we are all over 40. Never once did it seem like an issue. People are in Vegas to have a good time and I think that makes them less judgmental compared to local clubs. I could be wrong. But the best clubbing nights of my life have been in Vegas.

Thursdays are reasonable at Tryst. Ask for patio table with low minimum and maybe they will upgrade you to inside if you even want to be inside. their patio is nice.

After all tips to host, server, busser and taxes I spent $2200 but that was for large table and had 15 people.

44 here and definitely. Age is a number and our group ranges in 37-46 and have had a blast.

Drais is going to be the newest spot when you get out there. Another link had this info regarding some bottle deals:

      http://vegasseven.com/2014/05/19/100000-will-buy-drais/

You can also go to the dates you are going to be there and look at pricing for tables, etc for the day and nightclub:

      Hope this helps.

It is totally worth it to get bottle service. Remember - you are paying for the table, location, the service and the experience - not just the liquor.

You can have fun every single day of the week at a club in Vegas. During the week there are less places open, so the crowds are still solid at the clubs that are open. For example on Monday, XS and Marquee are both open, two of the best clubs in Vegas - and you will get more value for your money during the week, as bottle prices are cheaper, you can get better table locations for your money, etc.

No - they will not kick you out as soon as they can in order to double book your table. The only place in Vegas I've ever heard of that happening is The Bank and that's just what I've "heard". There are lots of reports recently of that not being an issue there either.

Bottle service is totally worth it and not just hype. It's a great experience and once you do it, you will be hooked!

Great read but # 5 breaks it down regarding why bottle service:
