I haven't seen him yet and mostly because this board seems to seethe at the thought of not having a main room table to experience Hak in.

He really that good? I like his songs but avicii/alesso/ingrosso were all along the lines of good to men. Any one of them could be spinning and I would have a great time.

Im pretty sure its because hes more mainstream than most. For example, my buddies would rather go see Calvin Harris than Ingrosso. Only because they know the name Calvin Harris.

I think you hit it on the head. He has become such a household name outside of EDM which makes him one of the few that draws tons of people that don't normally listen to DJs. I think Guetta and to some degree Avicii are the only other two that even are anywhere near as much of a draw outside of EDM fans.

Yup, all my friends who hate my "fist pump" music know who he is, and don't consider it house or EDM. Everybody sings along to "hopeless place"! I rate his live sets right up there with Avicii
