Couple of Aussies over in June!

Hey all!

Visited Vegas for the first time with a mate from Australia last August and had the most amazing time (Wet Republic + Pure + XS + Hakkasan). Might do a last minute trip in 4 weeks back again for a week or so!

Was trying to plan out a possible weekend (we may actually from the Monday or Tuesday depending on how things go) and was after some suggestions for the Fri / Sat / Sun. We had a great time at Pure last time so would probably want to hit that up again... but any others you'd recommend?

Thurs Night - Tao or Tryst
Fri Day - World Cup Watching! (Aus vs Chile)
Fri Night - ?
Sat Day - Wet Republic
Sat Night - ?
Sun Day - ECB

I certainly wouldnt visit Pure if I were you. Thats a very outdated club now and way down the list of places to be. In fact I think its closing for a re-model. The only place below Pure these days is LAX.

All depends on what you wanna hear really. You have go to Drais when its open, but outside that, i'd go Hakkasan or XS on Sunday night and XS or Light on Saturday.

Ah thanks mate!

I think the reason we liked Pure was probably upstairs outside where we could chat / meet new people a bit more.. but it was a quieter night for us and fairly successful hence the fonder memories haha.. but will definitely take that into consideration.

Might try and hit up XS on the Sat then... we actually only got there last minute last time so was there on a Monday so i'm sure its a pretty different place on Sat .

Yeah ive only been on the outside Terrace at Pure. It was good when I went but that was the first club I went to in Vegas. Since going to other places you realise Pure is small-fry.

Drais is the spot right now, it opens in a week. As all new places in Vegas its got the buzz around it. XS is always good every night its open. Light is great too. Hakkasan gets mixed reviews, cos you need a good table to appreciate it. Do not go general admission to hakkasan.

There's other options like Hyde on a Saturday night aswell.

If you liked the fact that Pure had the terrace, then you may also want to consider other clubs with out door areas, like Marquee/XS/Tryst/Surrender. Also like tomm0 says, Drai's will have a large outdoor area and will be brand new - probably a great spot as well.

Didn't realise that Pure was closing so obviously thats out. Will definitely hit up Drai's both day and night if we can . Will keep Light in mind too as we didn't hit that up last time.

Whats best Wed / Thurs night by the way? Not sure when we'll be getting there and might earlier depending on flights

Wednesday night your top options are Light and Surrender, followed by Chateau.
Thursday night you have a lot of options. Tryst, Hakassan, Tao, Haze and EBC at Night (Surrender, pool party).
