  • Saturday night - XS, Tryst or Hyde

Hoping for some advice on an upcoming visit...in Vegas 18th June-25th June and going to do bottle service for the first time on the Saturday night. I've looked at numerous places and narrowed it down to Hyde, XS or Tryst - it's a group of 8 men and our budget is around $2000 plus tax/grat/host tip. Where would people go? We've got a mix of people, some would like the continous dance music at XS, others I think would prefer the more laidback Hyde I think.

At Hyde, we've been offered tables in the 60s (near the dance floor) or 70s (elevated section). XS is a premium immediate patio/daybed - does anyone have experience of this, as we want a table rather than a daybed for the night? I've contact Bobby at Tryst but not heard back yet, presume this could be because it's over 4 weeks out...

Any help would be appreciated, or suggestions of alternative venues that would be better for that budget would also be welcomed.

    Thanks
    Andy

Firstly Hyde wont be laid back on a Saturday night - its a club on Saturday night so expect the same as anywhere else.

Your $2k goes nowhere whatsoever in XS on a Saturday, where its also a mandatory $500 handshake. So XS is

    - Minimum Spend
    - 28% Tax & Grat
    - $500 host handshake
    - Possible 10% LET depending on the DJ

So youll be on the outside daybeds at XS. Not worth it.

    Its hyde or Tryst.

Or outside on the patio beside the DJ which I've had for a 1500 min and a handshake for much less than 500. That;s a good spot for those on a budget imo

Agree with OmarLittle, we have had the patio table by the stage/DJ for a 1500 min plus handshake (which was less than 500) on a Saturday night. This is a great spot and great value. The pricing will depend on who is playing but shouldn't be too far off.

        Andy,
When Bobby gets back to you (about Tryst) then ask him for a price for XS too, he will set you up right. My vote would be for XS on a Saturday. You will get a great crowd and great atmosphere. If this will be your first time doing table service then XS is a good place to start.

        Have a good one!

1st- your going during EDC weekend- edc itself is Friday/Saturday/Sunday night
edc attracts over 135,000 people to vegas
but those 135,000 people will be off the strip and at the motor speedway saturday night so you should be able to get some deal on the strip that night

Here are the announced lineups so far

Thanks for the help guys. I've asked Bobby about XS as well so will report back on that.

XS was always my preference but the worry I had was to choose the outside table, turn up and realise we were in a poor location, which kinda ruins the experience.

Does anyone have a seating chart for XS, complete with table numbers? The only one I can find does not have table numbers/descriptions...

Pretty much got a choice of:

Hyde - $1650 min spend plus tax/grat and $300 shake to get table 61 or 65
XS - $1700 min spend plus tax/grat and $300 shake to get an outside table (not sure of exact location)
              Tryst - $1700 min spend plus tax/grat and $300 shake to get table 600, 530 or 430.

What do you guys think? The 2 Goose for $450 at Tryst is quite tempting, especially as bottles at XS start at $600-650...

I've been looking at pictures from tryst on saturdays and the nights always look full and seem like a lot of fun. Your 1700 hundred will go long ways with that promo.

So Hyde and XS are the same price on a Saturday night ? I thought Hyde would have been a little less expensive.

I was just guessing that was because at Hyde it would be side dance floor, whereas XS would be a table outside, not sure exactly where. Originally quoted $2k min spend plus $500 shake to be inside.

                        +1

Raise your budget slightly and for $1800 (not including tax/autograt/host tip) that deal nets you 8 bottles of goose for your 8 guys (4 - 2 Goose @ 450).

It really depends what you are after. Do you care more about the overall ambiance, bang for your buck, or best table location. You'll probably get best location at Hyde, best bang for your buck at Tryst, and best overall ambiance/experience at XS.
If you have to ask how much it costs, you probably can't afford it! That being said, it's Vegas and doesn't hurt to try!

Would you guys put Surrender in the same category as Tryst in terms of "bang for your buck" and "best overall ambiance" ? My small group of 4 is still debating about what to do on Saturday June 28th. Hyde, Tryst or Surrender.
