MDW Travelling Solo - Didn't Realize it was so Busy...

Well I booked a trip for MDW and being Canadian I didn't realize it was a holiday weekend and would be insane. I am staying at Aria and wanted to go to Haze a few times but it appears to be sold out. Will be arriving Wednesday and leaving Monday. After reading the boards and collecting some info I decided to buy tickets and go to the following:

Friday- Haze
Saturday - Marquee
Sunday- 1 Oak

Wondering what I should do on Thursday and if my Sunday choice is solid. Again some of these are not my first choice but obviously I can't buy bottle service by myself to get in to some of these places. Primarily I wanted to stay and drink closer to Aria. Also I will likely arrive around 9pm on Wednesday so are there any good places I can get into without waiting too long? Was considering doing a pool party or two but looks like liquid is sold out already. I guess I am a bit late at this. Thanks for any help.

You might want to check out some of the bars/lounges one night. Gold Lounge at Aria, Bond at Cosmo, etc.

On Wednesday checkout light or surrender- you will probably be able to get free entry if you contact vipforfree guy
On Thursday unless there is a dj you really want to see might checkout the new Drais its the opening night
Also throw in some pool parties

Will mention- some of the events you mention that appear sold out- are different from other club events for example "Appearance" by Kendrick Lamar at haze and Nicki Minaj "treats guests to an exclusive poolside experience" at liquid
"appearance" and "poolside experience" are different from kaskade at marquee- where kaskade will be djing for 2+ hours.
Kendrick or Nicki will most likely not be performing/singing for 2+ hours.

Also if your new to vegas
most nightclubs open around 11pm with the headliner on around 1am going till 4-5am
most pool parties open around 11am with the headliner on around 3pm going till 6pm

Thanks for the information, I will probably checkout just a regular bar at some point as all this club planning seems to be a lot of work. Plus probably wouldn't hurt to take it easy one night so I don't completely burn myself out.

I am assuming that Wednesday and Thursday you don't really have to plan too much ahead because it is less busy than the weekend? The new place Drais looks pretty neat so that is a good idea to possibly check out, since it is opening it would probably be pretty nuts. I guess I got the better deal with Kaskade vs overpaying for Nikki Minaj, although even if she is only showing up for a few minutes the crowd would have been good. I guess it is Vegas so anywhere I go it will be amazing anyways.

You will love LV for MDW. Stayed at Aria for MDW 2012. Don't be afraid to just chill at Aria's pool while there. A lot of room and chairs to grab so you can recharge and recover during the day.

Personally Carnaval Court is a solid changeup for Wed or Thurs nights also, shorts/jeans and t-shirt outdoor scene over by Harrahs. Wide range of people more for the party. Extremely casual. Live band or dj. They had a dj when we were there last July.

Good to know. Yeah I will probably try to stick closer to the hotel pools for the most part while I am recovering, and try to hit it harder in the evenings. Good advice I may end up checking out Carnaval court as well. Seems to have some solid reviews.
