Hi

Are there any clubs / bars that play mainly deep house, tech house etc and not EDM(Avicii /Aoki style) / hip hop?

Ive noticed occasionally people like Jamie Jones, Pete Tong, Carl Cox, Claude Vonstroke have been listed at some places.

How far in advance are club line ups announced?

It's been almost a year, but the Artisan was playing more Deep House, and Dark minimal when I went. Of course it was 5am though! Not sure if it's still open or not, but After had strict rules for DJ's on what NOT to play (commercial EDM, top-40, etc), this might be what you're looking for. As for the big clubs, maybe someone who's been recently can help out

Jaime Jones and Claude Vonstroke have residencies at Marquee. Carl Cox at Light. Cox and Jones are in town for late night sessions MDW. Richie Hawtin had a late night session at Marquee a few months ago.

Schedules are usually post a month in advance.

DCR was heavy on the deep house when we went last July. Artisan also that same trip.

Downtown Cocktail Room, over near Fremont St. Also I forgot, but Insert Coins was playing hard trance when I went, it was like a warehouse rave! Talking Kandi, tutus, frilly leggings, neon!

Hard Trance and Kandi/neon - not really my scene, although I do love a warehouse rave....
