I've been told the new Drais Afterhours will be at cromwell in its old location (when the hotel was Bills) in the basement. It's set to open mid June.

I'm hearing mixed responses. Latest one i heard is that the current one at Bally's will remain open until the new one at Cromwell opens. Then they'll do the remodel which makes sense, like ccc said, it's MDW.

The inside looks quite compact...pretty much explains why the mins are going to be so high. Which surely means there will be a decent time outside as well

combination of the floor plan and pic on drais website. i guess it is 25k sq ft which is no XS but probably a bit unfair to say it's small!

Ah nice cool i see it.

Nice little feature - you can pick a date, and a table/cabana and get a min spend quote that you can place a 10% deposit on.

Now I dont know if they've lowballed some minimums here, but the Pool Side Banquette (the ones wrapped round the palm trees) I think would be pretty cool spots at the nightclub, particulalry the first two right by the entrance to the indoor part. They are only $750 minimum spends on Friday/Saturday and $500 on Thursday and Sunday. They're a good size too with up to 6 seats. If you are paying a deposit I imagine they'd have to stick with your quote there.

Im not actually sure whether indoor will be best at this place like XS or Marquee. The view is so central that the outdoor area I dont think will be that separated in relation to the indoor for atmosphere. With this dude all about the overall experience over DJ talent I think the outdoor area will be just as good.

Im thinking of doing a night inside and then a night outside to see how they compare!
