So is the weekend after EDC but before 4th of July a slower weekend than those two weekends? And if so, how much slower? Yes I know EDC brings in like 300-500k people for that weekend, so I guess a better question is, is the weekend in question considered a normal weekend for the summer or slower?

I'm sure it's a normal weekend, not a slower one. If you look at the line up of DJ during the June 27th-June 30th weekend, it is pretty impressive. I guess many DJs will stay in town following EDC. I was in Vegas last year during EDC and clubs were not crazy full since the EDC crowd was actually attending the event at the speedway. But traffic was bad downtown.
I'm going back this year from June 27th to July 1st. Should be a good one !Trip # 11:
