Nicki Minaj ruined or plans - what now?

So we wanted to check out 1OAK on May 23 (Friday, MDW), already talked to Joey Orr a few weeks ago regarding Bottle Service.
Yesterday it was announced that Nicki Minaj will be there that night. Well, we're not exactly fans.

We chose 1OAK as it is getting a lot of love around here and it would have been nice to be at a non EDM-club for once. But with Nicki Minaj, we're not so sure anymore.

Other options for that particular Friday include:
- Hardwell @ Hakkasan (got quoted a huge limit for BS - no thanks)
- Steve Angello @ XS (maybe?)
- Krewella @ Light (would be great, but we're at Light on Wednesday)
- Benny Benassi @ Marquee (see Hardwell @ Hak)
- Allie Layus @ Tryst (might be the best option as far as the venue goes, everybody here seems to love it. Not sure about Ms. Layus though?)

That pretty much leaves us with XS (S. Angello) vs. Tryst (Allie Layus).

What do you guys think would be our best bet for bottle service that night? Should we stick to 1OAK or go someplace else?

I'd stick to 1OAK, personally. It's not like it'll be an all night Nicki Minaj concert, and she will probably bring a good crowd. But if it's REALLY that bothersome, between Tryst and XS I'd say Tryst. I'm not familiar with any DJs in particular, so hopefully others can chime in here. But XS is definitely not where I'd go if I was looking to be in a non-EDM club for once.

Stay at 1Oak, honestly. It's MDW, if you didn't like the quotes at Hak and Marquee XS won't be any better. If you really want to avoid Nicki, you could head to Tao or Hyde as well. Snoop will be back at Tao over MDW, but I forgot which night.

Don't let that ruin your night. Not only will she bring in an insane crowd but the performers that are booked at the clubs only perform 20-30 mins, if that. Not to mention any time they have a performer they usually bring their other famous friends along and it gets pretty crazy @ 1oak on those nights.

Stick to the plan!!! She makes her appearance, sticks around for a bit and rolls. You'll still have a great time.

Allie Layus is a dj/producer who was a Playboy Playmate. Worked for the Palms for a bit. Nothing spectacular IMO.

If you need to switch because Nikki really kills it for you Steve Angello definitely. Hardwell is outstanding but I would only do pre sale but it will probably be packed so not as much fun. I am more about the dj's then the location. Krewella for me is take it or leave it.

that weekend is pure gold no matter where you go. 10oak was awesome when i went last year and the atmosphere electric. tables are all good. you also have to consider headliners TS cost more depending where you go.

Talked to Joey again and prices have gone up since we last talked. Way up. Damn you, Nicki To be fair, the main reason is that it's MDW, obviously.

50s: 10k-15k each table
DF: 7500
20/60s: 3k-5k (small 3k larger 5k)
70s: 2k -2500
Lounge: 1500-2k
Art room: 500-1000

We really wanted to be in the main room, but with all the other partys planned we didn't want to spend that much on 1OAK, to be honest.

So, what now? Joey says we'll have to play it by ear.

Maybe Haze as a backup plan? There's a performer called Kryoman.
Or Hyde with DJ Five? Tao with DJ Politik?

last year we were there and had a good deal through Joey too, it was Rob Kardashians bday, we thought ah crap..
he ended up pulling an awesome crowd full of gorgeous women, had an awesome night

im going to hit up 1OAK too. Probably go friday night or earlier in the week. Its the non EDM stuff that our crowd is going to like.
