We need help deciding which of these 2 itineraries to take:
Option 1: We can depart late afternoon on a Sunday, arriving in Vegas around 9ish. My wife is only good until about midnight or 1 a.m before she turns into a pumpkin so while 9 pm is early for some, it only leaves us with a half an evening. We'd returning home Wednesday around 3pm. This would give us 2 full and 1 half nights out in Vegas, 2 full days, plus a good portion of Wednesday to hang out by the pool etc.
Option 2: Depart Wednesday very early, arrive in Vegas before noon so we'd pretty much have all of Wednesday. We'd need to return home late Friday evening, around 7pm, so we'd pretty much the entire Friday.
We are in our early 40's. We like to party but want to avoid young crowds and huge line ups. We'd hit the casinos 2 or 3 times, maybe a nightclub one evening or dueling piano bar, and maybe a show.
Is the Sunday to Wed trip just too quiet and there won't be much happening? Or can we fine some place hopping if we know where to look? Which one of these 2 options would you choose?
