Tryst has lil Jon Saturday of mdw
I'm currently a big fan of turn down for what and turbulence
But only 3 of the people I'm going to Vegas with are willing to chip in for a table
My wife my self and our friend Nate
Bobby gave us a couple quotes that are decent(150-200after everything) if we have 2-3 more
We are all late 20s - early 30s

I've heard Lil Jon is more top-40/edm DJ now...can anyone confirm this?

Correct. Lil Jon plays more top-40 and some EDM here in Vegas. His sets can be compared to Diplo, as they have performed many times together at XS & Surrender. When he does play EDM it is usually of the hiphop remix or trap variety so I wouldn't worry to much. Lil Jon knows how to please the crowd

Unless either Diplo or Lil Jon has changed their style quite a bit in the last year, there are not very similar. I guess if all Vegas DJs sound similar to you, then Lil Jon and Diplo will sound similar too.

I think they have really started blending the music here a lot. Especially for trap/rap/dubstep. All 4 times I've seen Diplo the past 3-4 weeks he was with Lil Jon and they basically play the same hiphop over house/dubstep. It's great music but for locals who attend these events religiously it does get tiring :/ On the other had, Diplo's avatar Major Lazer has been killing with their blended music that includes hints of reggae; creates a really good vibe inside the club

I'd be really surprised if Lil Jon got good at trap. Or maybe Diplo has gotten lazy. I dunno. But trap is not the same as hip hop/edm/top 40 mixes, which is typically referred to as "open format" and what Lil Jon is.

Again, I haven't listened to any recent Lil Jon mixes, but I highly doubt he's gotten into trap.
