Avicii Cancels All April Shows

Avicii posted on his facebook about 2 hours ago that he is canceling his April shows. You can read about it here.

Does anyone know how long it will take XS and EBC to schedule another DJ? He was scheduled 4/18 @ XS, 4/25 @ XS, and 4/26 @ EBC. On Wynn's calendar, they have already removed his name from the EBC date and replaced it with "special guest."

At encore may 4 and would be super bummed if he didn't show.

He just canceled his April shows due to his doctors saying he needs time to recover after the recent surgery he just had, so he should be good to go in May.

Depends what he plays. If he sticks to his own style, it won't work too well at a daytime pool party in Vegas. I'd rather check out Sultan & Ned Shepard @ Daylight (where I'll be) or Tritonal @ MDC. I avoid Wet Republic, but I'm sure Calvin Harris will surely bring out the hotties and be a wild party.

"unhooked" means without his full production-"the cube" that is how he labels all his nightclub shows- his arena shows are "hooked"

Calvin Harris had 9 top 10 songs on mainstream radio- its a very different sound

Encore beach will be busy though because deadmau5 does very few shows

I'm hoping he'll have some extra shows in May as a result of this, but since the schedule is set that would likely tick of the ones that are already booked.
