Hey guys......so been Vegas a few times now. Upcoming trip from 5-9 June will be my 4th. With a group of guys...10 from the uk

Just wanted to get some pointers on the below itinerary as I know things change quick in Vegas and my last trip was in 2012 ( we did Tao, Marquee,ECB,Bank)

We are staying at the Mandalay which I know has a new pool party and club so any thoughts on that much appreciated.....

But here is the planned itinerary...

Thurs- Tao (aiming for a table in the Moat area)- I know when I went in 2011-2012 Tao was seen as a good spot on a Thurs and we have set up in the Moat area a couple of times and had a great night. I can understand its less appealing otherwise but given specifically aiming for the Moat is Tao still a good place to party or would you go for one of the newer kids on the block regardless (I know Tryst gets a lot of love but had an Ok time on a Fri night a couple of years ago I.e. sausage fest and poor music so in no rush to go back)

Fri- chill. Non club stuff. Maybe some pool time at Daylight

Sat Day- MDC or Daylight ( given we at Mandalay but no probs going to MDC if that's better) - will look to get daybeds or at a stretch a Cabana

Sat Night - no idea here. XS is the obvious one but what about Light or Hakkasan - the hip hop room might be fun as I am sure we will get edm overload whilst out there but what's it like in there?

Sun- maybe ECB but we have been a few times now (albeit loved it)

Night thinking Bank - dance floor table. Again not a huge fan of the place but got a dance floor table last time and had a blast. Again are there much better places on a sun even with less of a good "spot" ...being a big fish in a small pond or small fish in an Ocean I guess! Haha

    Thanks in advance

    Overview, with comments to follow:
    Thurs - Hak
    Saturday - Daylight/Light
    Sunday - EBC/XS Nightswim

Tao is still fun, but not top tier. The spot on Thursdays is Hakkasan (industry night). Tryst has bottle deals if you wanted to save money, but if you like Tao do that over Tryst. I'd personally do Hak... Might even be able to get a similar minimum as Tao, but I'm not sure. The difference is that pretty much every table at Hak is good it seems (although obviously some are better) and Tao you have to be pretty specific to get the table you want.

Saturday do Daylight if you want to do EBC on Sunday. If you don't, do MDC Saturday and Daylight Sunday.

Saturday night you should hit Light. The club is amazing and right in your hotel.

Sunday at EBC is my favorite party in Vegas. So that's my vote. But you could also do MDC Saturday and stay home at Daylight on Sunday during the day.

Sunday night you should definitely do Nightswim at XS. The party is awesome, and if you didn't love the Bank anyway this gives you an extra night to do an amazing club. Also you can sometimes get industry bottle deals (2 goose $595, goose/moet $395) on Sunday nights.

I understand not wanting to trek to Encore twice in one day, which is why it might be a decent idea to do Daylight on Sunday if you're going to XS Sunday night.
    Next Trip: October 28-31, 2016

Hakk mins are not cheap (even thursday). If you want a table on the first floor of the main room, it's prob gonna run you 2k+

Not sure what Tao mins have been going for thurs. However, I imagine they are less than hakk. I'd just get quotes from reliable hosts through both venues, and see what better suits your needs. I'd recommend Thomas G (Hakk) and Chris Traer (Tao)

Tao is fine on Thursdays especially if you don't want to be overloaded on EDM.
Light on Saturday or Hakkasan are great choices if you want to see the new spots.
EBC or MDC on Sunday during the day and Nightswim Sunday night.
However, Daylight will be running their Esclipse pool party on Sundays this year so that's another option closer to your room, on your last night.

          Guys

Thanks for the responses. Have been travelling etc. So here is my itinerary so far. Feedback appreciated!

          Thursday Night -

Either a table in the Moat Area of Tao (tried and tested but seems to not get much of a mention these days. Club layout avg but Moat area is great I think)

          OR

Drais - will be the grand opening weekend. First weekend in June. Unsure how busy it will be given its new so any thoughts welcome. When in Vegas and living so far away dont want to risk a dud and have no idea how the hype machine works in Vegas i.e. do new clubs take some time to build up a following or will they be heaving from the get go

Sat - Daytime. Got quoted some pretty high numbers for ECB (avicii playing). Still weighing that up but also considering Wet (Calvin Harris), MDC (Ferry Corsten - less keen. Im from Europe. Does he still play Trance? Is what he used to play years ago in Europe)....And then maybe Drais Beach - again an unknown at this point

Night - 1OAK. D/floor table. Any feedback. We as a group dont mind some EDM but 1OAK with some hip hop sounds fun. What is the crowd / vibe like? Hopefully easygoing and fun

Sun - Bank. D/Floor table. Thought about Nightswim at XS but no one playing as such so could be not too busy. Had fun at Bank in the past.

          Thanks

Also would anyone strongly swap out 1OAK for any of the Tier 1 clubs on that night - XS, Hak, Light - apart from being bigger and having great productions and more EDM oriented - is there a big difference in terms of crowd, vibe etc.

            Thanks
