  • Best bet for 2 guys with $200-250 per night budget?

I'm going to Vegas with a buddy on Memorial Day Weekend.
Our budget is $200 - $250 per night max (including drinks and admission).

We want to go to one of the top tier clubs like Hakk, XS, etc.

Any chance we would be able to get a table? If not would it be possible to split a table with some other guys?

You won't be able to get a table more than likely with that budget on that weekend, if your looking to keep to the 250 max range. There is a section on the forum for listing when you are coming to Vegas, post there and mention you want to split bottles. Also maybe go easy one night and push your budget up a bit, things are going to get pricey table wise on MDW.

$500 budget/night between 2 is technically $350 since you have 20% auto gratuity, 8% sales tax and possible LET Tax (10%) which odds are will occur Memorial Day Weekend since most of the big name dj's will be probably performing which is $490 total. IMHO you have to plan for a 1k min which is $1400 all in for that weekend for 1 night.

Now I'm not adding the tip to the host, busser or security that you'll also have to pay so say another $200 min. 1 night with a 1k min is now $1600 for that 1 night.

Sharing a table is an option.

You want top tier clubs but it costs top tier $$ for real estate during a holiday weekend like MDW and I am on the lowest end imagineable.

May want to just do pre sale tix and buy drinks at the bar or take 2 or 3 nights of the budget and then go from their for 1 night. Tier 2 clubs will give you a better bang for your $$ with $1500 (3 nights' budget) or you can go the pool route which will give you a little more bang for your buck.

        Hope this helps.

You can have as many people you want split a table, but the more people the higher the minimum will be. Generally its about one bottle per 3-4 people (500 min) Then you have to add the taxes and auto gratuity of top of everything. Memorial Day Weekend is considered one of the busiest if not the busiest and most expensive holiday weekend in vegas.

Like someone suggested go on the get connected section of these forums and look for a few people willing to split a table, contact a host , get a quote and go from there.

I hate to break this to you mate, but $250 a night in Vegas is peanuts.

Entry's gonna be at least $50
            Drinks are gonna be $20
Then you gotta get home with cabs etc

You're gonna go over that, mark my words. I was running $300 a day in dive bars in NYC this past weekend... In vegas? Jeez...

I think he understands from the overall response that the budget is low, a good time can still be had he'll just have to choose wisely and sacrifice a night to push up his max.

Could go to a lounge and get unlimited drinks for $35-$50.

Hey bud.. i've been there! In fact, I've been there with a smaller budget, so let me tell you what to do:

                  1) Pregaming is your friend. Drink all the free alcohol from your favorite sippy cup
                  2) Go EARLY or LATE. Nothing wrong with standing in line for an hour sippin on some grape juice and vodka.. nothing wrong at all.
I've never tried going super late, but whenever i've stumbled out of the club around 3pm there's like no line at all.
                  3) Guestlist and tip! You're dudes so don't expect free cover, but give a good handshake and you'll skip the line.
                  4) One you're inside, keep the buzz going with 2-4 drinks. Dance, have a good time, etc.

$250 is a totally doable budget for a club.

Those are some fine dive bars... You have to use those Happy hours to their full advantage if you want to stay below 3-figures. And that's coming form someone frequently indulging in artisanal cocktails and oysters.

Gold Lounge @ Aria isn't too bad if you're looking for an open bar deal.
