  • Sexy lounge (with house music? ) for slightly older

    Hey Everybody-
It's been a while since I've been here - and never under this name - forgot my info after not signing in for like 2 years....oops. Had to make a new account.

Anyway the JC forum has always treated me great - so thanks

So this year I'm headed out there for a Sunday and Monday night in May (for work and a rendezvous) and will meet up with an old [girl] friend. We're both around 40 - not looking for the crazy loud crowded mega club scene (this time - thinking classy, more laid back - a sexy (even erotic? - NO strip clubs LOL) lounge with sexy house music - someplace more intimate where we can talk/flirt/dance with each other...

    Any help appreciated - thanks!

If you have the $ you can get a cheap table somewhere and that literally is your own private location to dance, flirt and talk the night away. Not only that but you can make your own drinks and will have a place to sit. Real estate is key. Think of it like renting out your own private experience square where you can do anything with reason on it.

I've never been, but Level 107 lounge up on top of the Stratosphere looks pretty interesting. I've been wanting to try their happy hour. Also there, Frankie Moreno's show looks good for an older crowd who wants to party. Anything at the Cosmo is good, too, and I like the lounge at Excaliber for live music (yeah I know)

True sexy house music is unfortunately rare in Vegas these days. Hyde is probably the venue that fits what your looking for best.

Hyde would be perfect, especially if you can get a table on the terrace overlooking the fountains!

If you don't mind going down to Fremont DCR would be the perfect venue. Went there last July, small venue, house/jazz/instrumental music focus with couches to sit in. Small dancefloor maybe a 300 people max capacity. Open Mon-Sat closed Sundays. Great bartenders and a nice change up from the normal Vegas strip scene.

            Hope this helps.
