  • Anyone ever go with a big group of 25 or more? whats the best strategy?

So I have a pretty big group of about 15 guys and 10 girls, possibly more going to Vegas on MDW, what do you think the best option would be? I've gone with a large group before to XS and Marquee and we didn't have any issues and had a great time using GA. but last year i went on MDW to Hakkasan which was a huge mistake. most of us couldn't even find each other.

Are there even tables that could fit all of us? I was thinking of doing 10-12 guys for bottle service at Light, the rest going in as GA. would the security care if we brought them all over to our table? or should we all just do GA?

EDIT: actually its looking more like 30+ people.

My advice: grab two or three of the best wing man and ditch the group. Good Luck!

Simple answer: cash lots of it.

If you want to go GA I'd go to Light or XS.

As for a table, if you are looking at 30 plus people you'll need 2 tables at most clubs and it will probably run you 14-20k in mins at top tier clubs that weekend.

Personally I would ditch the idea of tables at a top tier club and maybe get 3 tables at a tier 2 club. Work with the host and tell him what the game plan is and you'd like to have the tables adjacent if possible. Everyone can then go as a group, mins might be a little lower and possibly negotiate a b2g1 deal with a predetermined handsahake from each table or overall.

Assuming all 30 go and only 15 guys and 3 tables my plan would be one of these basing it on even numbers not bottles and their cost.

12k min/4k per table with auto, tax and LET is $16800 all in. That is $560/person. I'd bump everyone's contribution to $600 that's $18k - $16800= $1200 leftover which = $400 per table tip or $1200. The question is what can be negotiated with that type of tip with a host on MDW at a tier 2 club?

Now if the women are not involved in contributing to the tables' costs....$1200 per guy with this example.

On a 10k/3 table deal it's $14k all in. I'd bump the boys to 1k each and you have 1k leftover for the handshake. If all 30 are paying bump everyone to $500 and you have 1k left over to use.

I organized tables for a group that size over Super Bowl weekend. What a mess! Never again. Getting everyone there on time...Collecting money was horrible since I did all cash (no way I'm putting a group that big on a charge and trusting that they cut it off.) I would split into smaller groups and try to show up early to get tables close to each other. Or pre arrange with the host table near each other.

The girls would definitely not be down to drop 600 each...
So would the security really be that strict? 30 people would not be at the table at the same time. We would just use it as home base and for people who don't want to be on the dancefloor. we dont care about the alcohol btw, we're just interested in a place to meetup and chill at.

Ive never had bottle service in vegas so thats why I'm asking. But in local clubs in my area, we could always bring our friends to our table with no problems.

Not worth the trouble then. Just go to XS early, claim a spot outside and save some money.

Your going to find that it will be difficult to use the table as a home base for the whole group. Whether or not you care about the alcohol somebody will notice that your group seems to be constantly changing, for the most part clubs are cool, but with a group that size a host or a security guard will view the whole thing as a lost opportunity to make more money. I would definitely reach out to a host before hand and try to explain the situation.

I have done large groups before and never had to paid that type of prices. We're actually doing another large group 30+ people in April. You can coordinate through the club host or promoter and most of the time they will work with you. Then again, we're not going on a busy holiday weekend so prices can factor into that as well.

Are you doing multiple tables next to each other? How much are you paying? As of now I think I'm going to do GA at XS cause we can always chill together outside. But not planning on going to XS every night so bottles is still a possibility

If you just want a place to meetup, go early designate a spot for people to find each other and GA it. I never wander much when I'm on a table.

Not a bad idea getting 3 tables but those numbers are CRAZY for a group just wanting a place to meet up and maybe hang out.

You can EASILY get 6 guys per table @ 1k-1.5k minimums at Tryst, Surrender, 1OAK, Haze, Tao, Pure, Hyde, LAX. Just get in contact with a host about 3 weeks out to lock it in early since it's a busy weekend. You should be a little over 6k all in and if everyone pays evenly it'd be $200 a head. If girls don't want to pay that much do $300/guy, $100/girl or something along those lines.

Honestly, this is heading straight for disaster...
You're in vegas to enjoy your vacation, not there to hear bitching and whining. If you're the sole person organizing it, i'll say forget it and everybody does GA. People might even choke at the last minute (too tired, hungover, no money etc). Its not worth the trouble. Like Enc012e said, grab your best wingmans and go hunting!

Did a table for a group size of 20 last summer.... it was pretty hectic since we all stayed at different hotels and getting everyone to the club on time. and since you're going MDW weekend its gonna be pretty pricey to get a table just to be homebase. Would probably be better to go GA

How do you even keep that many (drunk) people together getting to the Nigthclub?

I used to be the guy taking care of organizing my groups when I went. these days I don't' even bother to try to keep cohesion in a group more than half a dozen. There's just so many distractions and logistical hurdles along the way that this responsibility is just a headache.
