Marquee & XS - host from JC or Aria's concierge

Hi there!

4 guys (including me) are coming to Vegas May 20th for 6 nights all the way from Germany - it's my Bachelor Party! We're all really excited. As I have been to Vegas a couple of times (back when I lived in San Francisco for some time) I'm the one who does all the planning. I know, this should not be the groom-to-be's job, but I'm actually very eager to do it

I'm a frequent lurker on this forum but now I have a question. We're planning to visit 2 clubs, preferably Marquee and XS. We're staying at the Aria Sky Suites which comes with a private concierge. So just to check it out I wrote this guy an Email and after some general information about the club scene in Las Vegas (I thought it was funny that he rated XS, Marquee and LAVO higher than Haze - talk about loyalty) he wrote: "I would be delighted to get in contact with our club promoter for the club of your choice. Our club promoter can assist you with arranging table and bottle service for you and your party."

Now I keep asking myself: should I make a booking through the Aria Concierge or contact a host from the JC list directly?
We're most likely to get bottle service at both venues.

If comps is an issue to you then it's best to keep all your loyality with the Aria concierge since that's going to get credited.

Use a direct host. Cliff Orr at Marquee and Bobby Y at XS. You'll be well looked after and can more easily discuss table location and spending mins.

JC, since the Aria concierge is just going to call a Host anyway. Dealing direct means you don't have to filter things through a third party.

We'll be in town from Tuesday (arriving 10 PM) to Monday (departing 9 AM).

I was thinking of hitting two clubs, do you think Marquee and XS are good choices? The original plan was going out an Wednesday/Thursday and Saturday, but both clubs are closed on Wednesday/Thursday. So maybe hit another club, Haze, Lavo or Tao? Light seems to get a lot of love here as well.
On Sunday both David Guetta at Encore Beach Club and Macklemore at Surrender are on the agenda.

Just remember you will be there during Memorial Day Weekend so prices will be slightly higher.

So would you prefer Light to Haze on Wednesday?
I'm also looking at Eclipse at MB's Daylight. That could be fun, right?

As for Saturday: maybe it's better to hit a T2 club as Guetta on Sunday at ECB will be $$$. 1OAK maybe? Tao? How much "cheaper" would these be compared to Marquee?

Also, does it make sense to contact the hosts now? It's still 10 weeks to go.
