Late October trip

Hi guys, iv been to Vegas the past 4 years but always in summer around July / August time, however due to a couple of stag doos (bachelor parties) around Europe it's not going to be possible to fit in this summer and were moving our Vegas trip back to the end of October time. Anyone been around this time? I'm obviously not expecting summer crowds but hoping it will still be busy at night. Looking to take in the life is beautiful festival and Halloween weekends, as due to the distance we tend to stay 10/11 nights. Any input on what we can expect this time of year would be appreciated.

Always thought October in general is pretty quiet during the day? dont pools close October?

Yeah its still busy at night. I always liked Sept and Oct trips, decent weather, good nightlife, and plenty of sports to bet on

We do the Oct trips first week of October due to baseball playoffs, NFL football in full swing and weather is perfect. More active at night since the pools are usually done or last leg.
