Feedback on our Plan

My girlfriend and I are going to Vegas April 22-27. We like to party and dance but not every night. We like hardcore hip-hop old and new. We are staying at Mandalay Bay mainly because they have a nude pool. Need recommendations on a couple things underlined and any other advice you may have.

22- Arrive, Walk the strip during the day, Zumanity at night 10pm show
23- Pool during the day, Beachers Madhouse at night 10pm
24- Pool Party During the Day(Which one would be good? We are flexible on which day we go) Downtown at night and then either a strip club or a club to dance at (Which club would be best for us? Seems like 10Oak has our music.)
25-Mandalay Pool during the day. Britney Spears show at night 9pm
26- Hoover Dam and Pool during the Day and signed up for a Club Crawl at night which takes you on a party bus to 4 different clubs
27- Pool during the day Head to the Airport around 11pm for a red eye

Tuesday - Walk the strip then do 1OAK @ night. It's 1OAK's industry night, play hip-hop, and will be great crowd usually.

Wednesday - Pools on this day are usually pretty dead in general. If you REALLY REALLY have your hearts set on seeing the Hoover Dam (really?) go this day. Beechers this night is fine but you do have one of the hottest clubs in town in LIGHT in your hotel. If you want to dance go to LIGHT. If you want to see weird shit go to Beechers.

Thursday - Only pool parties I'd recommend this day would be Liquid @ Aria and then maybe Tao Beach @ Venetian. Not usually a super crazy atmosphere like the weekend but will definitely have more of a fun time then Mon-Thurs. If you did 1OAK Tuesday you can do Haze @ Aria for night time club.

Friday - Daylight is the Mandalay pool party to go to on Friday. Last year they have Peach Ciroc sponsored the day with free shots. Britney Spears, I guess.

Saturday - EBC/MDC/Wet Republic/Daylight/Tao Beach for your pool party needs. Definitely try to check out a pool party this day if you've never done one before. Insanely good time. I ranked them from most favorite down. Only Tao Beach would have majority Hip Hop but it's the least impressive of the bunch.

Sunday - Regular Mandalay pool.

General consensus on these as with many things Vegas, they are what you make of them. If you're with a fun group, and like to meet new people to party with they can be good. Upside, you get to see a few different venues if you haven't been to them. Downside, you don't get the same experience as you do sticking with one venue for the entire night and you're on the move all night. You won't be going to the top clubs, but if you prefer hiphop anyway, that's probably a good thing for you.

1. Biggest point- look at every nightclub/ dayclub website and look at who they have booked for your dates- I'm talking headline dj- then COMPARE it with the other nightclubs and go with what you like best! What sound you enjoy- for example some clubs might have trance/dubstep/edm/open format or hip hop djs booked. Understand most clubs announce djs maybe 30 days out but some hip hop acts get added last minute maybe a week out.

2. Understand your location Mandalay is at one end the strip and while Encore/Wynn is only 4 miles away- it can take a while to get down there/ cabs in vegas are very high priced. Light/daylight are at Mandalay, Lax nightclub is at Luxor, Hakkasan/Wet Republic are at MGM Grand those are closest to you.

3. Keep in mind most nightclubs open around 11pm with headline djs on around 1am. And the pool dayclubs open around 11am with headline djs on around 3pm.

4. Friday night/ Saturday day/night /Sunday day are the busiest times in vegas- most people. So if your going to go on a excursion say downtown Fremont st/ Hoover dam I would do that Wednesday/Thursday morning/afternoon

5. Club Crawl- you probably can not get a refund- so best advice see what clubs you are getting entry into- then use point number 1 to research what kind of music and also point 3 timing- to try to make the best of it. Maybe you hit two clubs quick early in the night and end up around 1am at where you ideally want to end up.

6. I agree with enc0123 that the vegas clubs are really unique and you should try to hit clubs Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday Night- If you are just male/female that means even ratio so if you contact hosts you should be able to get guestlisted- free entry Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday Nights.

7. Just so you know some of the bigger name nightclubs in vegas right now are Light/Hakkasan they just opened last year. And XS at encore is one of the most highest reviewed.

Will also mention Calvin Harris is at Wet Republic on Saturday afternoon-

While he is not a hop hop dj- he just has a few songs with Rihanna- he is one of the bigger name djs in vegas right now.

On strip clubs
All clubs do FREE Limo ride/ FREE entry
Just keep in mind where you are going because usually you can't get a free ride back to your hotel.
Crazy Horse 3 is closest to you.
They are open 24/7 some do bottle specials before 8pm/9pm.
There are a few all nude clubs in vegas but they only serve free unlimited soft drinks.

did you buy em through group-on? Please tell me you did cause you would have save a lot! I've been on it twice; i think going to Coyote Ugly alone is sometimes the highlight of the whole thing. Since you are with your gf it doesn't really matter if you hook up with a group during the crawl but it is a fun experience nonetheless.

Thanks again to everyone for the knowledge. Yes we pre-booked the club crawl and did not Groupon . We will just make the best of it. It will be good to see a lot of different clubs even thought they may not be the top ones since we like hip-hop anyway. We will use the weekday nights to check out the top clubs. Partying with others will be fun too.

Good info on the strip clubs too. We may hit Crazy Horse if there is time. Is that all nude and soda or topless and alcohol?

Zumanity is already booked but it was a free promo so if its really worth going to 10Oak we will.

Will reschedule Hoover Dam to Wed since the pools are quite.

We want to spend at least one day at Mandalay's topless pool.

So here is our update Itin:

22- Day-Walk Strip, Night-Zumanity or 10 Oak-Mirage
23-Day-Hoover Dam, Night-Light Mandalay
24-Day-Wet Republic or Liquid, Night-Downtown, Strip Club then Haze (Too Much?)
25-Day-Daylight Party, Night-Britney Spears(Yeah, I know...)
26-Day-Encore Beach Club or Wet Republic, Night Club Crawl
27- Day- Mandalay Topless Pool, Night Go home

Crazy horse is topless/alcohol, the Palomino is the only all nude I can remember. You should really stick to Rhino/Sapphire/Crazy Horse though.

Might consider
22- walk strip with a couple of sights in mind- chandelier bar- cosmo, bellagio fountains, etc then Zumanity then nightclub
23- Grand Canyon Tour then Light
24- Pool then Fremont St then Strip Club then free entry to Hakkasan or Haze
25- Moorea Beach and Daylight then Britney then nightclub depending on DJ
26- Calvin Harris- Wet or Avicii Encore then Night Club Crawl
Ticket are cheap for Calvin and Wet is closer to you then Encore but go with what you like best
27- Moorea Beach

Realize Vegas is a 24 hour a day city so you can definitely do Zumanity AND a nightclub or Britney AND a night club as the nightclubs open around 11pm and really get going around 1am- and strip clubs are 24 hours.

Not sure how you are getting to the Hoover dam- but will just mention there are some companies that do Las Vegas Strip to the Grand Canyon with a stop at Hoover Dam- Its an all day trip from like 7am-9pm but worth doing on a slow day in vegas. $80 a person flat- http://www.grandcanyontours.com/bussouth.html

On the all nude clubs there are a few in vegas- Little Darlings does the free limo and I think charges $5 for bottomless drinks before 10pm http://www.littledarlingsvegas.com/passes.php

I think the topless pool your talking about is moorea beach club- open Friday to Sunday at mandalay

22nd is fine
23rd - Is a Wed, so no real crazy pool parties, but you can do Moorea ( when you say nude pool, I think you mean topless). Moorea is a separate pool club on the Mandalay Property, not party of Mandalay Hotel Pool that has the waves. Host there was Kevin Blessing, cool dude, not sure if he is back this season yet.
24th - Liquid's Industry Day Pool Party, at night 1Oak is not doing Thurs as of now, so you have Haze / Tao really for best hip hop. Haze and 1Oak have the same resident DJs.
25th - Do you mean Moorea for topless or the regular Mandalay Pool.
26th - I'm not sure I would do Hoover on Saturday, that's the best day for the pool partys. Hoover would better on Fri/Sun prob or even on that Wednesday when there's no big pool parties. I'd do Daylight since it's right on property
27th- wing it, EBC/Rehab/Wet/MDC are the bigger pools that should have some action.
