You start with a few guys that are all in, things are set but then more buddies at the last moment try to hop on and join the party. Then girls come, you have to try and get them in plus your new buddies, things get out of hand and you are stuck trying to do last minute math without being too big of a dick.
For this Scenario i am going to use the following numbers at either LIGHT or XS as they are primary locations for edm/tech guys it seems (which is my group)
Night: Saturday
DJ: Top 50 Headliner
Minimum: 1k-1.5k (safer with 1 but will spend like 1.5)
Group size Male: 6
Group Size Female: 0
Group Total Size: 6
Club: LIGHT/XS
Table location: LIGHT (Center Mezz) XS (Near main bar)
Currently the last time I did this I had 5 guys all in 100% ready to pay. The pre-party came and 4 more dudes wanted to jump on. Not only that but 3 girls now were tagging along somehow. I was able to get the 4 other guys $100-150 each and then the girls came with us. We managed to get a decent table with 1k minimum for 7 guys, 3 girls and 2 guys getting walked in @ $40 each.
I am aiming for a table at LIGHT this coming March and I am going to be more forceful in my approach to requirements for #'s but sometimes I have to adapt.
*Question* Are girls considered the same body count as guys. Do looks change this at all? What kind of factors will determine if we are having to increase everyones paid share (increased minimum) to cover females? If we have between 3-10+ females, is my best bet having the guys go through the table and the girls guest listed with a JC host hopefully and walked in at 10:00? Can those 3-10 females be at our table upstairs with us? Could I tip a host a hundred or two to walk a group in either with us or soon after?
*Question* Regarding the center 12 mezz tables at LIGHT If your group size is 6, will those tables sit 6? If our group size increases to 9, are we still able to snag a center table or are we pushed to the outside/forced downstairs? I've never been upstairs and only on the dance floor once for GA.

*Question* Is there a maximum amount of people you can have sitting at your table? Once again do girls seem to count as..less of a body in this respect?
Thanks for any responses again. I have become somewhat addicted to the network/host/organization required in throwing a party and I am an information fiend. Unfortunately the only friends I know at this point that have experience with that realm are you guys lol
It's my card on the line and i am fine living a bit on the edge as long as no surprises tip me over it without a way back. I don't have the firepower ($$) to counter any kind of surprise and since I can't do this every weekend I try to hammer out the unknowns well ahead of time. Following the rules, being polite and meeting my requirements are only thing I can work with
(I am also going to try and compile a massive Q and A thread, similar to the guides posted on the site but a lot more in-depth for people like myself which need specifics)
