Yes, it does happen.

Usually happens more at the lower min tables. They'll be around for the first couple pours then you'll be lucky to flag them down for the check afterwards....

I find find the higher the mins the better the service. They're more apt to hang around the table more and party with you at those tables....

Or it could really just depend on the waitress you have that night and how much she respects/enjoys her job...just like any other service oriented spot!

Depends on the waitress. I had a dance floor table at XS and the waitress dropped the bottles off and that was it. Conversely, I once had a table out in the boondocks at Surrender, and that was the best waitress I've ever had in Vegas. She hung around, poured most of our drinks, chatted, brought us free rounds from the bar. It was great.
