Best Hotel/Club for EDC Weekend

Last time I went to Vegas was EDC 2012. I stayed at the Cosmo mainly because it was the "it" place to stay back then and because Marquee seemed to be the club everyone was talking about and I had a great time. I missed 2013 but am going back this year. Part of me wants to stay at the cosmo again, but I found a better deal for a suite at Encore and Marquee seems to have lost its popularity with XS having much better DJs, the only advantage the cosmo really has is that the room has a balcony. So where would you guys stay for a fun EDC weekend The Cosmo or Encore? Thanks in advance

Both are fantastic hotels.

You cannot go wrong, they're the best two on the strip so its horses for courses. I guess Wynncore tips it cos XS is better than Marquee and Encore Beach is better than Marquee Day Club.

I guess Cosmo is a slightly younger demographic perhaps? But then if you're gonna be at XS more stay at Encore.

And i'm a HUGE fan of wynncore venues...but theres no such thing as a bad location on MDC + the party is more concentrated i dont know...everyone is at the center of the action!
My opinion XS > Marquee but MDC > EBC

I'll be there for EDC with a group of 10+. We're all staying off the strip for better rates and the convenient not having to deal with busy traffic/crowd.

Also puts, you farther from the pool parties which are just as big a draw these days. You won't lose with any strip hotel that week, just pick the best deal an roll with it. Don't choose your hotel based on which club is in it.
