  • April - Bars & Lounges

Staying at the Cosmo from April 10th-13th. Last year when I was in Vegas we partied at the Palms, and the club atmosphere was a little too hectic to pick up any ladies, unless you had bottle service.

That being said, I'm planning on hanging out at the busier hotel lounges, maybe Bond one night? Or Lavo (palazzo) the next? Maybe even bottle service at the Aria gold lounge. Basically looking for busy and happening bars that aren't pure no-room madness as a club.

Also, I'm getting there Thursday before my buddies roll into town. What do you guys think of hitting a local bar/club that's off the strip? Easy Mexican chicks anywhere?

Did this bottle special at Aria Gold Lounge and will be doing on our next trip later this year if you haven't seen it:

      Hope this helps.

Whats the clientele like at Gold Bar? Looking for a cheaper alternative to a club for 1 of the nights in my stay.
If you have to ask how much it costs, you probably can't afford it! That being said, it's Vegas and doesn't hurt to try!

        Planning
        2014 - March 13-16 - Bachelor Party
        2014 - June 5th - 9th (maybe) - Big 30.

I'm curious about this too. I'm going out the last weekend of March and have the myvegas $500 comp for Gold Lounge.

I like Deuce at Aria over Gold personally, just more of an open social vibe. Cosmo bars are cool, Lily at Bellagio, another sneaky spot is over at Encore, the piano bar there. Usually girls around going or coming from XS. Also Parasol Up at Wynn. However, I think the best is the pools, not sure if you went last trip, but way easier to talk to girls as it is not as noisy as the club.

Open format so be prepared. Crowd range late 20's, 30's and up. Some good looking women but not like the talent you see at the clubs. This is not for the young EDM crowd at all. I think half of their clientele are people who leave the Zarkana shows and want to do something but not wait on any club lines out on the strip or go to Haze.

It is what it is, a lounge with some room to dance but it is not focusing on the dance aspect. Darker ambiance and the decor is based on the Cirque show in Aria. They promote an open bar deal for the women for $20 and $30 for the guys but it's well drinks.

For us guys in my group it was an easy "recovery" night at a lower cost which is a good change up every once in a while. This is also not a drunk fest and secrurity removes them a little quicker.

Yeah, I'm not an EDMophile, and like top 40 too, so that isn't a problem. My group is 28-33 (with one 21 year old), so we don't need the sibe to be super young.

The one issue we'll probably have is the drunk fest haha.

Haha that was good SuzQ - I guess Mexican chicks just sound good when you're in vegas. Well, hopefully we aren't the only two suckers who get bottle service that night, I'm really hoping it's a good time. I'm 30, with people in my group ranging up to 40. What about your group?
