  • Spending my minimum

Im looking at booking some tables for my bachelor party at the end of May and although the hosts im talking to are being very reasonable with table minimums im a little concerned that my group wont meet them.

If we drink before the club and arrive early (whats early in terms of a vegas club?) i just cant see 7 of us getting through 4+ bottles of spirit. Should i just assume that at some point during a wild night it will get consumed or accept that we might miss the minimum and write it off as the cost of a good night?

Think you'd be surprised at how quickly the bottles rack up/disappear! Don't forget if you guys plan to invite girls to your table - the 'extra' could be used for them. I would bet on it that you won't have much if any booze left at the end of the night. Remember that your minimum can be used in any way - standard bottles/magnums/shots/waters+red bulls/champagne etc. It all adds up.

No need to be at the club much before 11pm. There's usually 6 in my group and we've gone past 4 bottles no problem. Don't stress to much and enjoy!!

During my trip last August I went with a group of 6 total and I think your under estimating yourselves. We typically went with 4 btls and it worked out good we even had enough in the tank to bring the party back to the room a few times. The nights were wild for sure, but thats why your there.

I'll just about 100% guarantee you'll have no problem meeting your minimum.. Crazy how quickly that price point can jump on you at the end of the night

Another tip, there is no need to pre party if you have a table. Especially if you're worried about having bottles left. Champagne, water and red bull are all good min soaks.

in regards to min vs. bottles. Can I pay my minimum upfront with cash and just close out. Reason I'm asking is that I don't want any drunk ordering and having to cover someone elses mistakes because they don't have the funds.

I've paid up front before, cash and cards.
If you have to ask how much it costs, you probably can't afford it! That being said, it's Vegas and doesn't hurt to try!

Yes you can do that at any club. Just let your waitress know when she greets you. You can even close out with a credit card just to get the points. Just make sure you collect cash from everyone prior to leaving the room.

Kind sir, you're supposed to pour some girls drinks out of those bottles, quit thinking so stingy, be a gentleman!

                      1. Do not pre-game hard. People pre-game hard to save $$$ on the high cost of drinks at the clubs. But you already have bottles to drink. Also save most of your alcohol consumption for the club. You will get to your table by 11:00, the DJ won't start until 1:00 and you won't leave until after 3:00. Don't miss part of the night because you get drunk early.

                      2. You will without a doubt knock out 4 bottles among the 7 of you over a course of 4+ hours. In fact I am certain you will order a 5th bottle.

Those bottles are your primary currency with anyone in a club. Use that as a starting point to bring people back to your location and initiate a convo.

I pre-game relatively hard prior to hitting the club around 11-11:30 but then i sleep for like 4 hours before hand and have a massive dinner. I am pretty solid at keeping a straight head and going all night.

I had a table at XS on 1/4 and I collected $ from all my friends prior to it. Paid all in cash up front. She won't open the bottles till she see's the $ but it makes it easier. I also told her I am the only person that can order anything. (My friends tried to order another bottle at like 3:30 lol)

Also bear in mind a bottle always goes quicker when self mixing. A little over 1/2 bottle per person in 4 hours with all of the above thrown in, you will smash the minimum so I'd be more worried about budgeting/covering for going over it. While you obviously don't want drunk over orders, IMO if you have paid the premium to do BS, the incremental "over minimum", which will most likely happen, is not worth stressing over..enjoy the night instead...

You can order 2-3 bottles of hard liquor and whatever you have left on the minimum order a nice bottle of champagne.

                              Dr Ninja,

You'd be surprised how fast the bill adds up with $8 waters and $12 red bulls. In my last bottle experience, they told me how much I had left to the min as the night went on.

As for "writing it off", why not order a ridiculously sized champagne or another bottle and pass it to your table neighbors? There is absolutely no reason to leave money on the table since they are going to charge you the min anyway.

FWIW my waitress at Light got me to $9 over my min.
