World Cup 2014 .. whats Vegas like?!

Ill be in Vegas at end of June for EDC week, as a first stop in my World Cup world tour, with a few other cities and countries to visit after.. Ill be doing the carnival for a couple of nights and hitting a few clubs and pools since im there for a week.

But I'm also interested to know what it would be like having the World Cup on at that time..? Would there be much buzz around the place? Any special events or screenings or special places to watch the big games?

I know it will depend on the time difference, since Vegas is a few hours behind Brazil and some of the games will be played in the morning or around midday.. Still beats watching the games here in Australia at 3-4-5 AM in the morning and then having to go to work after !

Never done World Cup in Vegas but I will probably say The Pub in Monte Carlo will be showing the games as they had a rugby tournament playing on them in October when we were there on a Saturday during football season.

I'm sure some of the sports books will be showing them also but you'll probably have to call them or check the hotels' websites for more info.

No buzz because of world cup, it will be all EDC and that house/techno crowd.

The sports books should definitely have the games up, but yeah EDC rules that weekend.
