  • First timer, organising a bachelor party to Vegas for 10, is this a good price?

Hi, this is my first post, any advice would be fantastic.

I am the best man organising a trip for 10 (guys) to Vegas early June this year. I was recommended an independent concierge service by friends, I understand from reading on JC that we could save $ doing it ourselves, but as it’s a large group + coming from London I don’t mind paying a reasonable premium for the peace of mind.

I have been quoted prices for each night + EBC, I would really appreciate your assessment on whether it is a good/bad/average deal - I have outlined the pricing for our Thurs & Sat only.

Thurs: Tryst, Min Spend $2000+ Tax&autograt $562/ +$630 for VIP line pass + Table reservation (Tips) = 6 Bottles Goose + 2 Bottles Moet/ Table 670/ 660-665 (which is one table) or 620. (Also get limo to take us there).

Sat: Light, Min Spend $3500+ Tax&autograt ($984)/ +$680 for VIP line pass + Table reservation (Tips) = Table 52/54 or 46 (Main Level tables) / I’m assuming would get us at least 6 bottles of goose.

Sat Day: EBC - daybed/ Min Spend $1800 +Tax&autograt $505/ £550 for VIP line pass + Table reservation (Tips)

So you are throwing down $600+ tips to your hosts each night? Am I reading that right?

The minimum spends and tax/grats sound right, but $600+ tips for your host seem high.

If Tryst is still having their good bottle deals on Thursday Nights you are way over paying.

They have had a special for Thursday Nights (2 Bottles of Goose for $450 or Goose and Moet for $300) - excluding tax/fees. So Excluding tax/fees (28%), you can get 8 bottles of goose for 1800, or 7 bottles of goose and one of Moet for 1650, or 6 bottles of goose for 1350.

As a whole the hosts that this site recommend can hook you up well beyond these outside sources. Many of them have a history of great rep and you won't have to pay up front giving you more flexibility. These hosts won't really know pricing yet for dates in June, but my advice would be to deal with hosts recommended on this site.
If you have to ask how much it costs, you probably can't afford it! That being said, it's Vegas and doesn't hurt to try!

      Planning
      2014 - March 13-16 - Bachelor Party
      2014 - June 5th - 9th (maybe) - Big 30.

Agree with the previous 2 posts re TRYST especially on Thursday nights when Bobby Y (contact details above) is prolific on these boards for ensuring the best deals with great locations. You are definitely over paying for Tryst. The cost of the limo is almost negligible to your night especially if only dropping you guys off. Can pick one up at the hotel entrance etc for under $15 per head.
Agree with Kmoss in his assessment of what you'll be paying in 'tips'.
I was there last June for a bachelor party and used the services of the hosts valued by members of this site and our whole experience was flawless. Use the advice given on this forum as it will truly save you money and will guarantee your whole group is looked after. Just text/email hosts recommended on here and see for yourself. If you are still anxious for whatever reason then go for the company mentioned above.

            Thanks for the responses.
So it just says "VIP Escorted Line Pass Entry and Table Reservation". I guess that price includes the tips to the relevant people at the club for our no queue time + table location/ the limo to the club / fee to our independant concierge for organising it all.
I will find out exactly and confirm.

Thnx, I will check out the recommended hosts - are the hosts on JC able to organise everything for us or are they club specific?
Do you know if any of those table locations are good/ worth our min spend?

You don't pay an entry when you do bottle service so what is the VIP Line Pass charge?

Hit Bobby up first for Tryst and tell him you're a JC member.

Chuck has a link (below) to some price lists for the Clubs and Light is on there:

Chuck also has a link to floorplans:

For Light contact Noah and tell him you're a JC member:

              Noah Ortiz - 323.919.6529 - [email protected]

They'll prob be able to do better deals for you. You will probably have to hit them up later on closer to your dates but I would at least start the conversation now and let them tell you what you need to do.

You'll have to contact multiple hosts, unless you stick within a *group*. If you stay within lets say the light group they can help you with other venues in that group or at least give you a recommendation to someone who can help. Light and Tryst/EBC are different groups so you will have to contact separate people for that.

Also I'd ask Bobby Yeadon about EBC. Not sure who is the official contact, but I'm sure he can help you and if not direct you to the right person. $1800 seems high for a day bed min.

Best advice: wait until the "lineups" come out- who the djs are at each club and pool then compare. Will be announced around 30 days out. Then contact club hosts at the events you want to attend.

Also realize May 24-26 is Memorial Day weekend and June 20-22 is Electric Daisy Carnival -these dates are more in demand then other dates.

What's these VIP Line passes? Who are you dealing with? Getting a table is your VIP line pass, how can you pass getting setup at the table line???? Anyway, deal with a direct hosts. Also the other problem with the Indies sometimes is they locations are of secondary importance compared to a direct hosts clients' tables. A direct host, tip the direct host accordingly and you probably can get better locations and save on the budget.

Hi everyone, to answer most of your questions, I just got some further breakdown of the charges, see below:

The VIP line pass is to avoid any queuing time at all, meaning we don’t have to queue with the table line and makes up 100$ of the charge.
250-500$ to the contact at the club for getting us the table location + reservation.
Transportation 100/150$ (BUT only for Tryst)

I appreciate all the advice, and will certainly contact the recommended hosts at each venue directly.
We are also going Marquee and XS - if there is anyone not listed on the JC host page that you can vouch for, plse let me know.

Ps, if you are in Vegas early/mid June (havent got exact dates yet), iou a couple of drinks!

Hey - im in Vegas 28th May - 2nd June. See you there!

From what i have found out so far i think a table min includes your entry/skipping the queue etc. You get security, table service all included but you are expected to tip them for their service. As im sure you can imagine - tip more and they will look after you.

Those charges are ridiculous. Just get ahold of one of the hosts that have been mentioned and forget that you ever talked with that company. You'll end up saving close to $1,000.

                              1. I use hosts recommended on this site and have never (maybe 20 nights at clubs) waited more than 2 minutes in the table line. And I have to admit it is cool to be standing in the table line and have a host come pull my group out of the table line and walk us in.

                              2. You are coordinating 3 events, right? Thursday night, Saturday day and Saturday night. I would not feel the stress to use an indepedent company for 3 events. The posters here already gave you contact info for Bobby Yeadon at Tryst who is awesome. A Light host is posting on this thread. If you want to limit your hosts go to XS on Saturday night and let Bobby handle your table at XS too (he covers both clubs). I once used Bobby for Tryst and XS and he was awesome. Bobby can also direct you to an EBC contact (EBC is coincidentally at the same hotel as Tryst and XS).

                              3. There are two key components of planning an event - club/pool party is first, and then table location at the club/pool party is a close second. I guaranty that if you deal directly with a host you will get a better table location. How? Take the tip you would have paid to the independent host and pay it to the club host, the guy who decides where your table will be. You can ask the host directly when booking what it will cost to get table x.

Your experience will be 100x better if you use a club host directly.
