Bachelor Party

Was in Vegas once, but this time it is with a larger group (10 guys) for a bachelor party. Quick question on tables, do they have tables for 10 guys, that aren't overly outrageous? Or would it be better to do 2 tables with 5 guys each?

Additionally if one night we didn't do a table, do you think pre-sale tickets would be a viable option, if we walked in 2-3 guys at a time?

They have tables that big- probably starting at a 3 bottle min- then going up from there depending on location.

You will also be fine with presales.

Yes but it depends on when you come and what table locations you want, which clubs. A lot of factors to determine the price. 10 guys on a Bachelor party without a table anywhere is prob not a good idea. You're gonna prob spend as much at the bar as you would for a decent table at some clubs. Get with a host to help you plan the whole trip, start with dates. You can look through this site and get an idea of how much tables are at each club.

Thanks for the help. If we are going EDC weekend in June, when should I start contacting hosts and discussing pricing? April? Also, how far in advance do clubs normally know the Dj on a given night?

EDC weekend??? One of the bigger times in Vegas which will probably lead to premium pricing. DJ list will be posted most likely mid May as clubs usually put it out a month in advance on their websites.

Did my bach party July 2013 in Vegas and 1 recommendation I have is get the $$$ commitment from everyone in your group asap. I'm sure there will be a lot of different budgets in the group and are you planning on pools and clubs, just clubs, plus my assumption going to EDC, etc? Bachelor party dinner one night?

It gets costly in Vegas now add EDC and bachelor party to the mix it can get extra costly. It's better to know up front and also set/see everyone's expectations than waiting until April/May when you start trying to lock down locations. By knowing now you will be able to give the hosts you're all in number so they can see what they can do for you.

Remember also handshake to your host + auto gratuity (20%), tax (8.1% I believe) plus since it is EDC weekend odds are LET tax (10%) will be needed to be taken into account for your all in number. For an example a $1k total bottle commit would cost $1380 all in and still having to add your tip to your host setting up the deal for you.

If you aren't going to EDC you may be able to get a deal on tables at night, since a lot of people won't be going to the nightclubs because of EDC (I think?). Dayclubs on the other hand will be PACKED and expensive.

I was actually at EDC last year, all nightclubs were still packed, and dayclubs were packed as well
