  • Outfit Question

    Hi - First post.
I'm going to be in Vegas for a week in April. I'm hoping to hit the clubs several nights. Never been to a Vegas club before and I was wondering if you seasoned vets think most places would let me in - in a suit like this:

    Thanks for the input.

A suit is a suit. Dresscode is pretty easy. Just remember to wear the right shoes. NO tennis shoes. all black tennis shoes are okay in some places.

Thanks for the reply - not sure if you could see the picture well - the suite is covered in tiny black disco mirrors.

I noticed the disco suit. It's pretty clever. Believe me, anything goes in Vegas.

Personally I like it, but my tastes tend to border on the socially inappropriate. Just make sure it cleans easy, as clubs = sweat & alcohol stains.

Agreed. Provided you're presentable and are wearing decent shoes (most important - this is the first thing doormen use to wave away schlubs) a crazy suit like that is more likely to help you than hurt you. It's Vegas.

Thanks for the input - yeah I thought it would be a fun outfit. I am just considering the suit - haven't pulled the trigger yet. I have some pants made out of the same material in silver that I wore to EDC - they were super comfortable, breathe well, and clean up great.

If not Vegas - Where else could you wear a suit like that?
                  Do it.

If you're going there single and looking to pick up girls, remember you're going to be swimming in sea of dudes in button ups and poorly fitted blazers. That disco suit will draw attention, probably the good type, though it may be a little dark to really notice the sheen. Whenever I have a table I always rock a tailored designer suit and am always complimented by how good it looks. If you've got a the build, get it tailored form fitting.

Also, jeans with a vest, nice shirt and tie is a good look. It's what I'll usually go with if I'm going club hopping.
