Club Recommendations for Scottsdale or Phx?

I apologize for posting on this forum about a different city but I thought, why not ask the experts just in case?
You guys have been the ones to show me the ropes on bottle service and the club scene in Vegas so I was hoping you guys might have some intel on your southern counterparts in Scottsdale or Phoenix as its relatively close in proximity.

My buddies and I are low to mid 30s and decided to go to Scottsdale to relax and play some golf and watch some hockey. We've previously had drinks on Mill St near ASU and had a good time as well as Martini Ranch.

Are there any clubs that we should check out while down there?

Any help would be appreciated.

As a fellow 30 year old trust me when I say there aren't any clubs in PHX worth your time. Its all young college kids. Unless you look really young or like feeling super old, stick to bars. Or just go to Vegas instead where you are never too old.

If you want a fun bar full of people your own age in old town go to mabels on main, kellys at south bridge, or The W scottsdale Wet deck. If you want more of a club vibe The Mint or Maya(only if there is a guest dj or during the summer for pool parties). In old town usually the GA is all the college kids and the bottle service section is where you will find the people you want to hang w. If your just looking for a good time regardless of the ppl around you everyone loves El hefe, hifi, Int'l, Whisky row. All of these club I mentions are in eye sight of each other.
Also when are you coming? we are coming up on Barrett-Jackson & Waste management (PGA) tour & Spring Training all of which come with their own set of events to follow.

Blondebabe -- we'll be out there Friday, 31st and attending the Waste Mgmt Tour on Saturday.
Have you heard anything for that Friday night? Been to hifi before.
In previous visits to Scottsdale, we've stayed at the W... but rooms were ridiculous this year. Anyway, I'd be curious as to what or where you would recommend 3-4 guys going.

I'll definitely check out a few of the bars you mentioned.

Mabel's looks really nice. Is there an actual dance floor or is it pretty much just a lounge where friends sit and talk?
As for El Hefe, if we go around Sunday noon to watch some football games, how is the vibe?

Also, would you recommend a table reservation for any of the clubs in the Entertainment District?
I'm not sure whether to just head there and then go to the club that looks to have the best crowd or to reserve a table in advance and commit to a venue.

@badbeatjackpot I think El Jefe during the football games will have a good turnout....

@thebigG As for the club scene it will be really busy because at the Maya they have Rehab djaying on 1-30 Lil Jon on 1-31 and Steve Aoki on 2-1.... Table service would be great on these days especially since its a smaller dance floor

Sorry guys been busy with work but here's my low down!

@badbeatjackpot no designated dance floor. you can reserve a table or just standing room. they usually have a dj on the weekends but it just depends on the crowd if actual dancing is happening.
As for hefe during super bowl will be crazy. between the waste management open crowds and super bowl i would recommend a table where ever you go because everything will be body to body.

@thebigG as dynasty stated MAYA will have Lil Jon on fri and Aoki on saturday. Int'l will have Borgeous on friday. After the game Hefe has Joe Maz. Keeping that in mind anyone w. guest djs will require a ticket or cover charge as most places don't usually have cover. I will say that I did forget to mention Smashboxx that is also a fun club. Also a brand new club opened up called cake that is suppose to be pretty fun but I haven't been myself yet but they are trying to say friday & saturday night they are having "special guest djs and surprise performers"

After the tournament there is also the Birds nest on site which has a bar and live music but I think it only goes until like 8-9p, you also have to pay a separate admission. Friday they have weezer at the birds nest

One unique thing you can take part in is a lot of bars are having pregame partys for the tourney and then a party bus that picks you up and takes you to the event and back to the bar at the end of the event. if you go look up their facebook pages you will see more info. Another thing i would recommend taking advantage of is a local liquor store called Bevmo is having promotions that if you buy so much of a certain liquor you can get free tickets to the WMO or The birds nest. I want to say its $25 of jack daniels products for the open or 2 bottles of absolute, Jameson, or Malibu for the birds nest.

Booked my hotel there on Friday for next years superbowl. all of Scottsdale is going to be a shit show lol. can't wait!
