            Skrillex is an interesting option...
I've seen him before at XS (2yrs ago for the anniversary party on a Monday night.)

We've done the EDM thing so much in Vegas (Kaskade at Marquee 2yrs ago, Avicii at XS last year, Skrillex, Aoki at Hakkasan) -- we're debating staying away from the "Tier 1" clubs and big EDM names this year.

Anyone have any thoughts on what places like 1Oak, Tryst, Tao, or other club with a mix of edm/hip-hop will be like? If you could rank them for Saturday, 2/1; what would it look like?

The other big debate is Sunday night, 2/2. We're heading to Rhino for the game (usually leave there ~9:30p).... so the question is which Sunday club to go to?

Is Drai's still "the" after hours spot even though its moved into Bally's for now?
at least 1 trip to Vegas every year since 2003 SuperBowl weekend...

Thanks Meerkat - will look Thomas up

thebigG - The Tier 1's will be crazy to get into Superbowl weekend if just a couple, yeah? Best options? Tag in with others for table/bottle service or host? Or steer away to others? Given we are there from Australia would prefer T1.

If your just a couple you should get presale tickets. And since you have traveled all that way you should go to the big names.

Presale it is. Some last newbie questions if I may?

                  1. If we have presale, any benefit in host to speed entry?
                  2. Was thinking if we did find others to tag in with BS could get in with presale we have paid for and chip in once inside. Is that viable?

Presale seems the best option and only way from there is up.

Thanks for your input, appreciate it.

                    1. From my experience, you get in rather fast with presales. Getting a host for that seems unnecessary
                    2. Yeah but in essence you'd be wasting those presales tix as you'd still chip in the same amount with or w/out presales. Your entry fee is already included with BS. Better off waiting for the last minute to get presales just in case you decide to get BS. Although you are going on a popular weekend so there's always a chance it'll sellout or they jackup prices. That only applies to DJs like Tiesto or Calvin though.

                    Good luck

As an example Skrillex presale tickets right now are $35.50 for guys and $24.00 for girls so $59.50 for a couple.
For a table split you would probably be looking at $250+ a person or $500+ as a couple. Bottles start at $550 + 20%tip & 8% tax so that $550 bottle becomes $700+. Using the standard 1 bottle for three people $700+/3 = around $250 each x 2.

So its either $59 or $500+

My buddy and I bought presale for Ryan Lewis on Saturday since a few of the quotes I got were pretty high for BS and a bit out of my friend's budget. I would up for sharing BS on Sunday night after the game if anyone is interested.

For your 2nd point, if you want to share BS you are better off just meeting everyone outside and going in as a group to save you the presale cost. I have shared BS with people from the forum many times and never had a problem. We usually just make sure everyone has the cash before going in and then collecting it together once our host walks us in.

We had a great time at 1Oak getting BS through Joey Orr when I was there last April. If you don't want to do one of the big DJs, I would go with 1Oak on Saturday.

thanks SH_ ... I like the idea of 1oak. I'll touch base with Joey Orr as you suggested since I have a few logistical questions.

Back to the original topic though.... Presales tickets through wanttickets.com is easy and it works. We did it last year for Avicii at XS and walked right in with no problems. The downside is obvious... no table to post up at and bring girls to. But, we spent ALOT less than we have in years past. And the reality is we were getting bottle service at Drai's the next night for their last party at Bill's (or whatever the casino was then.)

Anyway... I highly recommend presales tickets, especially if its just a few guys 2-3 and/or if you are on a budget. IMO, when the number of guys starts getting higher, you might be better off with a table.
