Looking for dark club playing trance - am i 10 years too late?

Going back to LV next year.

In 2011 went to MGM club (the 1 before Hakkasan) - poor - bloody Fergie - our hostess recommended the Artisan where her boyfriend was DJ'ing.
Ended up a good night.
My needs are select - i was a member of Cream during Oakenfold's residency there in 1997 - i dont care about alcohol or 'hot girls'
i just want to resurrect the best days of my life. i like tiesto but dont like the shit that hakkasan stands for although a table there wouldn't be a problem $ wise.
Its a big ask but is there any hope?

I would say good luck on that. Personally, the Vegas scene is an EDM Disney World.

While there in July we went to DCR and Artisan on a Thursday as a buddy of mine had gigs there, one of Roger Sanchez's friends, but more house than trance.

You already know inside the chances are almost none unless a local happens to see your posting and has a scoop. If it's not heard on the radio or the dj is not well known/main stage at a festival, it's not happening right now in Vegas IMHO.

You will find- Armin, Dash Berlin, Ferry Corsten, Markus Shutlz, Gareth Emery @ Marquee
Oakenfold still plays vegas here and there- I think he was last at Lavo
just check club lineups

Other then that you can go to Fremont street for a more local, underground feel in a small club

Vegas isn't the place to look for that basement club feeling, but if you're after trance Marquee is your spot.

Been almost a year, but my memory of Artisans music was a more "minimal" style house. Was still better then the top-40 mashups at the other clubs, although I haven't been to Marquee yet
