Meeting Local (not Tourist) Girls

I know the whole premise of meeting your girlfriend (as opposed to a one night stand) at a club is a bit of a long shot but...

I'm a local and I wanna find a local gf. I understand the whole chasing tourist girls thing but I'm after something else in my life now. And I understand a club is not the best place to go looking for a long-term relationship.

That said, a few questions:

1) Do local girls generally hit the same clubs as the tourists or some clubs are more "local"? Which ones?
2) Local girls generally are able to get in for free, right?

Best bet is to go during the weekedays on industry nights. Locals are free and you'll see a lot of the waitresses out and about too.

Personally, I wouldnt be looking for local GF at the nightclubs. Most are not GF material. Id hit the local bars.

A different possibility is you may want to look up and stay connected with a local professional/social networking group. Here at home they have at least 1 a month at a different restaurant/bar setting after work.

It's more of a glorified happy hour but you will be at least dealing with people currently living in Vegas. Link to the one in Vegas:

Damn, guess I'll help a little. The answer is no, the local girls don't hit the same clubs or even deal with the strip that much if they don't have to. Downtown, local bars, even Town Square would be a better spot to meet locals. There's a shot during Industry days but those are all Industry and party girls so not sure that's any better.
