Club Questions/Help for Weekend after CES: Thursday 1/9 - Saturday 1/11

Vice is one of the more well know open format djs

ok so clubs have released the dj's for after new years. We were thinking of doing 1oak on Friday for DJ Eric Forbes, and tryst on saturday for Jermaine Dupri. Any comments on their DJ sets? Saturday at 1oak is DJ Que, and at Tryst doesn't have anyone listed for friday. TAO is having Justin Credible on friday and Vice on saturday. Any comments on these Dj's or other suggestions is appreciated. Again we're looking for more hip hop music than EDM. Thanks!

I saw DJ Que on a Saturday at 1OAK. He put on a great Hip Hop set that night.

Thanks for the replies! For saturday we decided on jermaine dupri, now just trying to decide where to go On friday. I looked up some youtube videos and we might just go to 1oak for eric forbes, but still open to suggestions. Also, does anyone have any suggestions for thursday night?

1OAK is great for Hip Hop in general so i think that's a good idea for Friday.
Thursday I would check out Tryst. I haven't checked who is DJ'ing but Tryst is usually more open format than EDM and it's a good Thursday night spot.

I'd prefer to see DJ Vice over Jermaine Dupri. Granted I've only seen DJ Vice and I think he's a pretty well rounded DJ (and nice guy too as I spoke with him for quite a while).

DJ Que and Vice always put on good sets. I love Que, he's definitely one of my favorites.

All of the DJ's you listed are in your wheelhouse, but definitely Vice over JD.

No worries and know what you mean.

On 2 trips our group has done the pub crawls, more newbies than vets, where they have free drinks on the bus while you bounce around and see 3 or 4 clubs for an hour each. Gave the newbies a feel for what the clubs can be like and allowed them to go home talking about all the places they went to.

It let's them see more for less and if you pre game also you're not spending much at all. Only downsides are you stay for a set time at each club until you go to your final club of the night where the crawl ends and there are no tier 1 clubs.

Just a thought if you want to max out the number of clubs 1 night and pick a tier 1 club for the 2nd night.

What were the names of the pub crawls?
