  • Friday 7th - Wed 13th - Help me plan my weekend?

    Hi everyone,

Planning our weekend in Vegas, arriving Friday 7th and departing Wednesday

Can anyone suggest a bit of a game plan. Staying at PH.

So the guys are more into commercial house, bit of rnb, top 40 etc. What nights and what venues would you recommend within our stay?

One night we wouldnt mind going "bar hopping". So essentially not being tied down to 1 bar and maybe not have to pay entry to each place we arrive.

Can anyone recommend any bars on the strip that we can pop into for an hour or so and then depart to the next one. Obviously we wont get the most amazing venues, but would like something that has people, good atmosphere, a few girls etc.

    Really appreciate all your help

Im not sure of the month etc youre going, but in general ill give you some ideas.

Friday: Light, XS or Hakkasan. Big Tier 1 clubs, impressive and expensive
    Saturday: Id go to Hyde
    Sunday: XS
    Monday: Marquee
    Tuesday: 1Oak or Hyde

Bar-hopping. Ive never actually done it in Vegas. It doesnt appear too big at weekends, cos most people go to clubs at around 11 there isnt much of a scene that ive found to be any good. Its not like anywhere else where you go to bars all night long.

Maybe in Downtown vegas, but I cant say the bar hopping scene is any good on the strip, simply cos I have never found it.

I would definitely recommend the Chandelier lounge. We went up to the 2nd floor and chilled there for an hour and moved on when we did a club night.

My other suggestions will be way off the norm on this site and include actual bars as we define them here in Florida, but this past July for our group we were all across the map but we had a blast at the following for our 1 night of non club/pool let's just chill in shorts and t-shirts. We didn't pay any covers.

Carnival Court, which was our final stop on our one night of hopping is an outside venue next to Harrah's. Livebands and dj's on stage with a dancefloor area. Party like atmosphere based on the New Orleans experience.

PBR Rock Bar and Grill in the Miracle Mile at PH. Had a $50 open bar deal for drafts and wells while we were there. They have one on Sunday's for $20 9pm-1am if you follow them on twitter currently. This was our 2nd stop in our bar hopping night. With our group we got our money's worth.

We started at DB Pong and Pool which was cool chill place right there also in PH. 5-8 PM Mon-Fri $20 all you can drink drafts and wells. Can start that way and work outwards also.

Told you it would be different and is definitely outside the box but 1 night of lax fun is a must on our trips.

      Hope this helps.

The bar hop thing depends, do you want to bar hop daytime or at night. The bar hop vibe isn't the same as in the summer as it's a little colder and the tourism during the weekdays is slower. Basically, maybe Saturday or Sunday you could do it. Personally, I would..

Fri- Big club Light/Xs etc.. maybe sacrifice on the music this day for a wow factor type club EDM
Sat- Ghost Bar Dayclub then at night any T2 that plays open format Tryst/Haze/1Oak/Hyde
Sun- hit some bars daytime maybe, watch football, Sun Night XS/Bank
        Mon- Marquee
        Tue- 1Oak/Hyde

Think I might leave XS for Saturday.

How is 1OAK on a Friday night? Or better to leave it to a Sat?

Any drink packages (b2g1 etc) on a Friday, Sunday or Monday nights?

          Thanks all

Posters on here believe 1OAK is better on Fridays than Saturdays. I went on a Friday and it was awesome.

              Cool.

              What was the music like?

Anyone know of any drinks specials on the other nights?

Open format which means a mix of hip hop and EDM (the EDM will be the EDM you hear on the radio).

On Friday I got a dance floor table for B3G1. I know other specials are available. Text Joey Orr (586-873-4876) - he is a host at 1OAK - and ask him about specials.
