Would you go to Pure or Lavo for the Rock n Roll after Party? 33yr old couple...I love to dance and hubby not that much but will dance with me. Just wondering the p best club to go to on Sun night. I usually do Vegas in the Summer Thursday - Sun so this is another ball game for me. Thanks!

Pure is normally not a Sunday spot. Lavo is.. sorta, main Sunday spots are XS (it's now Trap on Sundays, yes!!) Bank (hip hop), Hakkasan (EDM), and Body English (hip hop old school) has been coming along lately on Sunday with acts/performers. I'm also going to be there for the 10K/half/full races. Lavo is nice on a Sunday night. Pure might be interesting to check out as I've never figured it as a Sunday night spot. But, I agree with Kaz and his choices.Originally posted by Butterflymtn View Post

The big issue I see with a weekend like this is most runners are there TO RUN. I find many runners concerned about their times. I'm not. It's tough to say, because this is the first year they bumped it up by two weeks. In previous years, the rodeo related events seem to coincide with the race. What I usually saw was a bunch of guys and girls in western gear drinking, but most of the runners came to run. I rarely seemed to meet other runners at any of the clubs with the exception of the post-event parties (they've been held at XS in the past). This year, aside from the race weekend, there's also going to be UFC 167. It should be big as it's got George St. Pierre as the main card.
But back to your question; I've never been to Pure on a Sunday night. It's bigger than Lavo. If you're not too concerned with the type of music, I'd say pick Pure for a bigger dancefloor. But, for me, I'd pick Lavo because I like DJ Vice and the type of music he'll play on Sunday (he's a solid mix of top 40 as well as other genres).FO SHO.Originally posted by redbullvodkaOriginally posted by kimballComment
