  • Halloween costume needed?

    Hi folks,

I'm planning on going to Hakkasan Friday, November 1st and then Light on Saturday, November 2nd with my girl. Will we feel out of place if we go in regular club attire?

    Thanks.

No. Most will probably dressed in reg club attire. I've been to Vegas clubs last 5 years during Halloween and maybe only 1/4 wear costumes.

That's a relief. I like Halloween costumes but I'm too busy at work until then to think about what we're going to wear.

I know it's not one of the "mega clubs" but last year at the Artisan I felt out of place NOT wearing a costume! They throw a hell of a Halloween party

The one time I went out on Halloween in Vegas, it was definitely the opposite (probably 3:1 costume-to-club attire). That being said, nobody cares if you're in costume or not, so don't worry about it. The clubs just want your money.

I was wondering this too. And if you do wear a costume, do the same rules apply? No sneaks/tshirt? etc

Same question here...we will be a bachelorette party of 7, planning to go with the "Top Golf" costume theme since our bride is a rockstar female golfer. Figured since we were ladies, the dress code rules don't really apply as long as we look hot?

From what I saw people in line that were turned away. Is if they have dangerous props that could be used as a weapon. lol. Maybe like a real golf club or baseball bat. And a couple guys were turned away for not having a shirt when he was dressed up as Alladdin. I didnt notice his shoes but I would still wear shoes rather than flip flops to a club.

You basically have to go all in or dont do it at all. My friend wore dress shoes and jeans but he wore an F1 inspired type collared shirt. The guy said it was too casual and wasnt a costume. He had to go back to the room and get a real dress shirt.

I still wouldnt do sneakers unless you have a full costume going on already that it wouldnt look right with dress shoes. A couple friends went in with NASCAR racesuit things with sneakers and they got in.

A friend went in with a football Jersey with jeans and dress shoes and they kinda frowned on it but he was way bigger than any of the doormen and bouncers so thats why I dont think they gave him crap for it. LOL.

This. Dress code is always a judgement call.. on Halloween they just judge how good your costume is too =)

We are doing both those clubs on those nights (bachelor party). Just want to let you know Halloween weekend parties are the previous weekend and nobody will be dressed up on the nights you are going.

Will be going to Hakkasan on Thursday the 31st with 3 other guys from Scotland. Have already booked and paid for presale. Was planning on wearing my Kilt with a Dress Shirt and my CAT's which are always cool for getting in in the UK(they're not scruffy and not used for work or anything). Would this be ok?
