  • Help with CDW

Will be going October 9-12 for the first half of Columbus day weekend.

I’m attending a conference, and we have a small group that is somewhat age diverse. We have a few in our 20s, 30s and even 40+.

On Thursday we would like to go to somewhere that’s is a bit more laid back, not too loud so that conversations can happen but somewhere where those who want to pick up can still do their thing.

On Friday, we plan on doing the real Vegas experience. The 3 places that we have narrowed it down to is Light, XS and Marquee. The younger guys are into EDM, however I don’t want to alienate the older people. Also, are these places appropriate to take the older crowd. From experience, I know these places get packed and I don’t want to alienate the older crowd who may enjoy a more upscale atmosphere.

Any suggestion on Thursday and Friday would be appreciated! I know CDW takes a back seat to LDW and MDW but still hoping for a crazy time.

I'm 44 and our group ranges from 27-me when we go and the Chandelier at Cosmo was realy good lounge when we went in July. Most say you can take your pick, you won't lose with any of the lounges there.

We've done Hakkasan (pre sale tix) and was worth it. I have only heard and read Light is the other must see Vegas club. I would highly recommend depending on the group doing pre sale tix or pooling together to get a table. Have only done Haze and Pure for tables due to one of the other guys in our group has the host connections.

    Hope this helps

For Thursday, it's tough because even the good bars may not have that weekend traffic, If you were doing a club that night and wanted to accomplish dancing with some area to get away, then I would prob suggest Tryst. It has that outdoor area by the lake/waterfall and it's not too loud out there to talk. The bars may be too boring unless you just want to hang in one that is close to a busy casino floor. Friday, depend on budget but the 3 clubs you picked are the hotter ones so you shouldn't be disappointed.

For the mixed group you have Kaskade and Armin would be the best options, but they would also be the most expensive tables.
