  • Bar hopping

    Hi,

We were looking to hit a few bars on Friday 4th, including The Chandelier, Rhumbar, the Mirage Ghostbar, Palms Casino Resort Mix Lounge, Mandalay Bay, Parasol Down, Wynn Las Vegas. Just got these off a 'Best bars in Vegas' article.

Group of 8 males, do these places normally have guest lists? Is it essentialist to get on a list due to the all male party? Do these places normally charge for entry? Are there any bars you recommended? Perhaps something off the grid, something different? Looking to mingle with females, so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    cheers and thanks.

I wouldnt bother with any of them if you're going to a club. You're wasting your time.

You gotta be at clubs by 11 so just have drinks in your hotel. Of all of those id go to Mix Lounge and the Chandelier. None of the others. Parasol down at the Wynn is just a small bar - its a place where youd get a beer while you're waiting for someone. There's no atmosphere whatsoever its got about 6 stools and a few lounge chairs and is next to the patio overlooking the lake. Its 100% not what you're looking for, and nor are any of the others really.

Vegas isnt like other places where you go bar hopping. You either go to clubs OR you go to bars. Bars like Coyote Ugly or Carnaval Court perhaps.

But yeah - dont bother. Its a waste of time, the only girls you meet will be on the way to clubs, so youll be left on your own come 11pm. If you want to do bar hopping you have to go to Fremont Street really in downtown Vegas.

Lounges and clubs will have entry fees. Its a place youll stay for a couple hours or all night.
-guestlist is pretty much poiintless for all guys. Expect to pay full cover.

Casino bars are your typical walk up bar which can be an open place with stools and video poker machines to ones with self seating areas.
Theres of course no cover. In some busy casinos you'll find there's othrr groups of people that can be likeyour group who are pre partying. Theres
Slight chance you'll find other women hanging out too but its not your typical restaurant/bar setting like back home.

You'll have to go to a lounge/club to get that social setting where you'll find more people.

Be aware that some clubs are huge, dark, crowded and loud so in that sense its not that easy to mingle around in a group of 8. You'll easily be split up
Or it'll be hard to get around. Youll have to split up to each "find" your women.

If the eventual goal is end up at a strip club, then find that casino bar where there's a pretty good crowd and hang out there.
Most casinos will actually have a couple or more. Like in planet Hwood the Heart bar has a dj and has a decent vibe and can get pretty busy.
At the Cosmo you'll see a lot of people pregaming or just hanging out at the many bars there such as the chandelier bar, and other bars in the casino.
