  • newbie- bank night club bottle service - reserving a table

I'm new to this forum. For the first time, I recently made a bottle service reservation at Bank Night Club for Sunday night. When I made the reservation I was told Bank reserves the right to sell my table after midnight. I have a party of 8 and the club opens at 10:30. I'd like to be able to hold the table more then 90min. What exactly does that mean. Do they take the table away or relocate my table?
Are there things we can do to better situate ourselves so they don't choose to sell our table?
How likely is this to happen on a Sunday night?

That's if you slam all your booze and you have 8 people sitting at a table with nobody drinking anymore. I heard bank used to resell tables a lot quicker than other places, but not sure if they still do it like that as much.

It means if you don't show by 1200am, your table may be sold to someone else. It does not mean it necessarily will happen, but money talks and plenty of people pull no shows on table reservations, which is why there is a time limit occasionally.

If you are new to the club with no prior business, it is difficult to hold a table. Usually, you only get that perk if you have an established record with the club, or with a particular host.

Imagine it is like a dinner reservation. You pay nothing up front, and you'd expect them to hold your table all night? What if you pull a no show? That table revenue would be history.

Maybe you could hold your table longer if you offer a credit card number to hold the reservation. It's not very typical but worth a shot, contact your host.

Sundays are very busy at the Bank. Tables go quick.

thank you for the info. we are fully expecting to be there at 10:30 to get a table. I was concerned they'd pull the table from us after we'd arrived and settled in. Sounds like as long as we are there and spending $ then we'll be OK.

Once you are there, you are good to go. The sleeve ball move of pulling your table is pretty old school and not typical of the industry. However, pace your booze and don't slam your bottle in 15 min. Typically, once the booze is gone, they clear out all mixers and you sign the bill. You can still sit at the table but it's kind of a drag with nothing there.

I always like to pace out the booze and make sure there is some left towards end of the night. Keeps things looking better. Just my two cents...

Its well known that Bank will resale your table IF you dont buy more bottles after you finish yours. There is plenty of threads on here about it from members who have experienced this. Just do a search. Its possible that has changed, because I havent seen any recent reports of it. I personally dont go there anymore. There are better options now IMHO.

No, they won't do this, maybe in the past but once you buy the table you're good. They do bump girl comp tables but not pays. And, if you have a low minimum I wouldn't trust that midnight hold thing either. If it's packed at the door, like normal and a lot of bigger reservations come in, you will get bumped (meaning they will tell you you have to do a higher min, or kick rocks). Now that happens there for sure. So I always advise anyone doing less than say 1500 min or so on a Sunday there, go at 1015! It's a small venue and their busiest night.

I had gotten a dance floor table at The Bank on trip a while back with two comp'd bottles... we got there at 11:00ish and by 11:45, someone came and started moving our stuff to the bar. They said someone came and wanted the specific table we were at.... they said to keep the table I would need to buy 2 more bottles, which four bottles for four people would have been a bit much.

... we didn't move until they for sure had another table for us, because we did not want out bottle(s) and stuff just sitting on the bar.

I was pretty unhappy and haven't been back to The Bank since. I understand it is a business and if someone wants a table and is willing to pay, so be it, but to just start grabbing our stuff without mentioning it to us and not trying to give us somewhere else to sit was pretty shitty service.
