Light vs. Marquee

Will be in town Sept 26th - 29th. I have my line up pretty much laid out, but I'm torn about Saturday night. I have been to Marquee before and I had a pretty good time, but I am being lured by Light.

The reviews on Light seem to be mixed. Is the dance floor small? Is the A/C decent...might be rocking a suit!

Thursday - Tao
Friday - Wet Republic/XS
Satuday - EBC/Light or Marquee

P.S. - Is it just me or does XS have a monopoly on fine women? I've been four times and I was amazed each and every time!

They are just different. Light has by far the more visual stunning lights I have ever seen at a nightclub or festival. The cirque performance just add icing to the cake. The table layout is wonderful, the dance floor is a good size, and there is plenty of space to walk around if you choose to not stay on the dance floor. Keep in mind that just like any other tier 1 club in Las Vegas, the dance floor is uncomfortable when it is crowded. I have also heard some people complain that there is no outdoor area at Light (I personally don't see this as a problem). Light is pretty much a giant rectangular two story room, with a bunch of lights, lasers, performers, and a massive LED wall. To answer your question about the A/C, I have never had a problem with it. However, if you do GA and plan to be on the dance floor, I can see how you might be a little uncomfortable.

If you have been to Marquee before, you know exactly how it is. It has a much more spread out layout that Light does. The great thing about this club is the different rooms (Main Room, Boom Box Room, Library, Outdoor area). If I do GA, I always enjoy starting my night playing pool and sipping on a few drinks in the Library. I then head over to the hip hop room, cool off in the outdoor area, and end up in the main room before people have to tip their way in.

If you want to stick with what you know, Marquee is always a great option. However, a lot of the guys on the forums (including myself) would recommend checking out Light at least once.

I know what you mean by the XS thing. No idea what it is. The lighting? lol

Light without a doubt - I think it is the new leader in Vegas nightlife.

During my recent trip, I spent time at dancefloor tables at Light, Hakk and XS - and Light was pick of the bunch. The service was better than I've had in any other club too.

Thanks guys. Decided to do Light on Friday and XS on Saturday. No Marquee this time. Hopefully, my TR will justify my choices! LOL

#2 XS with whoever is playing...they have this women thing your talking about...

If im going ill be there same dates as you, doing Surrender Wed/THursday ,XS friday and EBC/XS Sat...

I'm down for bottle service. I can switch to XS on Friday. Defintely, definitely, going to EBC on Saturday!
