LDW: what happened?

with LDW being one of the big weekends of the year just wondering what everyone experienced-

Sounds like
xs w/steve angello had around 7000
xs w/guetta sunday had around 10000

gallery nightclub closed down

eclipse was moved both saturday and sunday to smaller indoor venues

eclipse was moved due to the weather concerns. this weekend was not as busy as i expected it to be in all honesty.

Had the best trip of my life.

We went to every spot (Light on Friday, Daylight on Saturday, and MDC and XS on Sunday) with presale tickets at around the time where it says on the ticket to be by in order to guarantee entry. The longest we actually waited to get in was at Light on Friday which was at most a total of 5 minutes. Everywhere else we walked in with NO WAIT. We were all shocked how easy it was. Would definitely go again over a holiday weekend.

I stopped doing ldw a few years back. it didnt seem as crazy as mdw. from what I hear the weather sucked over the past weekend. traffic headed back to so cal on monday wasn't that bad either.

XS was packed during Angello's performance... Luckily I had a table outside, because it was like a mosh pit trying to get around on the inside... everyone was pushing and shoving in order for traffic to move...

I was at WR on Sat and EBC on Mon. Got into both pretty quick.

Wet was pretty packed but not as crazy as I expected - no issues getting to the bar etc. Missus was distinctly unimpressed with the lack of toilets though, particularly when 2 are unavailable due to a mess being sick everywhere for an hour!

Not as busy as other years by far. It was still a CRAZY weekend. I was in town the Wednesday before - the following Thursday. Trip report to come ;]

I was sick most of the weekend but I did go out on Saturday at Marquee for a bit. It wasnt as wild as many other weekends. Still a good time. Typical decent night.

So MDW was better then? Some considered MDW to Busy but i loved every second.
