Nightlife during Iheartradio festivel weekend

There are 6 of us, 3 girls, 3 dudes coming to Vegas during the Iheartradio music festivel. We tried to get tickets when they went on sale, but it was impossible and now the crappiest seats our like 500-600 bucks so we decided to pass lol. Anyways, what/where would you guys suggest for an awesome night out on the town during that weekend? It would be cool to see some of the artist that will be there that weekend, but we are just looking to have a good time and live it up one night.
Also, since it's such a big weekend, are we looking at paying a lot more for VIP/Table service at the places you guys suggest? Thanks in advance, we will be there that Friday and be leaving on Monday, 9/20-9/23.

I have been the last two years to iheartradio- attended the actual concert at mgm both in 2011, 2012.
Brings back a lot of memories thinking that two years ago mgm's nightclub was studio 54. If you have any questions let me know.

top five quick tips I can give you for this year
1. Don't know where your staying but just checked kayak.com, you can right now book a two bed no resort fee directly across from the mgm on tropicana 9/20-9/23 for $40 a nightx3 $125 a room including all taxes/fees. With free cancellation up to 72 hours out. BOOK IT NOW. mgm for comparison is about $1000 including taxes and resort fees.
2. 3. Hak just released there lineup for 9/20 tiesto and 9/21 calvin harris presale tickets go on sale 8/14 10am pst. Wet Republic should release there lineup really soon and it will probably be tiesto and calvin or maybe something special because wet has hosted the iheartradio pool party the last two years.

4. xs/encorebeach/surrender/tryst have had there lineups out for a while. If your trying to see Benny Benassi he is playing marquee day club 9/22. Its also likely some of the bigger name performers might make club appearances jayz did something at tao in 2011. J Lo did pure in 2011. Usher did 1oak in 2012. Psy did tao in 2012. calvin harris/deadmau5 did xs in 2012. Just have to wait and see BUT if they aren't on the club lineup don't expect them. You can also see a Elton John million dollar piano show on 9/21 if you want.

5. The lot is new this year- which is a day concert in front of the luxor.

Getting tickets to the real show at mgm realizing the whole show will be livestreamed and on basically almost every radio station in america........try winning them OR they should get cheap at the end. Also keep in mind its really a music lovers concert- I think last year it approached almost 5 hours. With some acts playing one song, some had 20 minutes, some had 1 hour.
